gorilla arms, animals knuckles. Power attack and just keep him stunned.
He always goes through my block no matter what I do. What attribute or level I have to be in so that I'd be able to block him without taking damage?

Really wishing I waited until later in the game to do this fight instead of cheesing it. :/ I also think they should make these fights repeatable for smaller amounts of eddies as a legit way to make money as a street fighter. They could add more shooting competitions and figure out blades, tech, and hacking challenges too to really add some replayability.
The guy you fight who puts up his car and has the pregnant girl friend uses the same pattern as far as I can tell. If you keep your distance he would do a few dashes then a leap attack. Dodge the leap attack and get a few hits in then back away.
I beat him with the cyber ware that aoes when I take damage. He hit me and basically one shot himself
You know you can parry his attacks, right ? I’ve smacked him really bad, check my fight if you’re interested

If you turn off melee or blunt weapon aim assist you can punch him in the gut instead of having your punches moving up towards his upper body. With gorilla arms and the legendary animal knuckles he didn't even get a hit in on me once. He will lean down after each abdomen punch and when he stand back up just continue the cycle. Was chipping away 8-10% health at a time.
So this is a "legit" win? Why is it then that at no point did your health drop even 1 point?? Even with blocking there is still some damage 🤔
Or just get legendary gorilla arms and level up street brawler
Nah, I can stagger lock him with my bleeding modded gorilla fists. Just pure strong attacks
Jesus. This is probably the worst I've seen anyone complete this fight. Kereznikov and physical damage Gorilla Arms. Power attacks to the torso, since Vik gives you a tip that his torso mods haven't completely healed yet. All you need.
Lol. Grenades.. build a "pitcher", and just drop grenades on him.
Also, if you're blocking, you're doing it wrong…
Just dodge. Get someplace high, and drop 'nades. Fights over.
I feel like this video is too long because if the simplicity other wise.
So I have a lot of people saying that I was cheating here or using an exploit because I was not taking damage when I was blocking. I just went back and tested it again with a different save butt naked and I was still not taking damage when blocking so if you are supposed to take damage then this must be a new bug because I 100% am not in go mode, I dropped my block and he ended me, and there were no shenanigans going on and I was not taking damage as long as I blocked. He does have a move though that will damage you through your block and most of the time one-shot you if you don't have a lot of HP. Also, This is on PC. So I have no idea if you will get the same results if you are not on PC and patch 1.1
Yo real talk, I beat all of these guys with absolutely no arm cyber ware, my role play included my guy beating all of these chipped dudes as darn near a pure human body…and I regretted it after winning.
The fist mechanics barely worked as is, but doing without gorilla arms turned it into torture, slowly taking 1% damage every 3-4 clean landed punches. If not for his stomach weakness, I wouldn't have made it.
I did this very differently. I used the gorilla arms with the animal mod, or whatever its called. I crouched, charge punched him in the gut and backed off. It staggers him and he takes a moment to recover. I moved in again and repeated this pattern until he was down. Eventually, he'll throw up blood. I got the idea from the hint Victor gives you about punching him in the gut.
Finesse.. do it with finesse.
I really didn't have a problem with Razor
Everyone does these fights the way it works for them. I'm a kerenzikov fan. There's nothing like side stepping and hitting him in the face with a strong hook. The slow-mo + Razors head tracking made for some hilarious moments. I like when the fights get a little longer. I would have loved 3 rounds.
If you can get the legendary gorilla arm mod off Matilda in the mall, it causes internal damage and after a short time he will double over and get K.Oed to enough hits.
Love that of all the problems with melee combat system the one thing they jump on is the one way to not make it awful for the players.
For some reason I could get him stuck in a corner and he would spread his arms and give me free hits.
I beat em without any of that… tho I did accidentally get him stuck on a ring post near the end and he just let me punch him to death
Legendary bleed & leg short circuit for the passive benefit. Done
Oh and who thought to have first person melee combat with no targetting?
this is the wrong way for this fight for a couple of reasons mainly the bugs in the game, 1. the edges of the rig are bugged with the outside of the ring witch is a safe area so your attack will sometimes be disabled, 2. all of the fighters in this quest react the same way so if you want them to dash at you just get far enough away witch is about half the size of the ring and they will dash at you, 3. sometimes the fighters will still damage you even if your block is up so its better to just dodge it though this is also bugged so you might lose anyway for a couple of different bugs, but dodging does allow for more attacking as long as the first attack is a power attack which will stun lock all fighters unless they do a jump attack.
I ran out of time in a silly one round fight dang it lol.
The cyberware that sends out a Shockwave when you get low on health is a great help in case you get hit. I had gotten him pretty low and he got a hit in and brought me near death but the Shockwave knocked him down and I finished him before he got back up.
i killed him pretty easily without arms and anything specced into street brawler. the trick for me is to just keep hitting him with heavy attacks, that does a good amount of damage and puts him in a stun lock, everytime he recovers from a stun, you just hit him again until the fight is over. took me less than a minute, which surprised me, but i was well in my 40's when i fought him, so that's probably why i didn't struggle
Sooo you can’t beat him without exploiting the game? I tried 25 times and eventually gave up.
if your gameplay relies on exploits then you sre doing it wrong. dodging exists. use it. boxing matches are ez on very hard difficulty with nothing spec'd into brawler/melee.
I've played this game three times and I've never heard of this Razor guy.
Yes the fire is helping.
I have a video of me, fighting him for hours, bleed by itself he doesn’t take that much damage and the fire combined with what I see you’re setup is, his fighting combination aren’t erratic.
As I fought him with both gorillas legendary and epic versions.
That thermal damage, combined with you staying in defensive stance reinforces counter attacks which stop him from changing combos so much, less he was nerf as I fought him before all these updates.
When I put up my video later one day. Lol
You will see, he does a lot of side steps and dodges himself.
Which you don’t see him doing in this video.

Because apparently most of you don’t realize, you fighting him 1 on 1 melee only, is nonsensical harder than using weapons obviously lol…
(Edit: to explain when you fight him melee only, period he has around 5-7 varieties of combos.
This includes a dash with its own feints which if you’re not careful he can use it himself to get behind you and then just punches you in the back of the head before you can do any thing, that is not to mention back when I was playing, he could spam that move.. lmao
You had to up your sensitivity to turn faster just to stop him from punching you in the back of the head… lol)
As you ever seen a boxing match and another dude is using a baton, kinda reinforces you to have a advantage.
The whole point of fighting him melee one on one is for the fact of doing it.
If you don’t even change anything and you went into fight him melee.
He doesn’t take any damage all.
I show that as well, you have no choice but to use bleed and fire because he won’t take damage otherwise.
Less they change that since I played which was like week into release of the game. 😂
While people are proud of updates, I wasn’t and I still am not okay with it being updated.
It’s fine to fix a bug here or there.
But to many quick fixes and you mess up a title period.
Because it needs to be played, not just fixed and then assumed it’s fine… lol..
Told my friend I was trying to play with no updates and he was like why.
I explained exactly that point then.
Plus people always want each game to be perfect…
But everyone ignores that all games crash and have bugs.
It’s when you’re in the middle of doing something your enjoying is why it bothers people so much.
Only thing I find odd.
Is people seemingly mysteriously forgotten all of all the titles of each previous games across the generations with bugs for last 40 years… lol

It seems most of the fights are knowing what triggers the opponents' patterns and working within that. a couple patches ago, I did the Razor fight, which took a few reloads, but once I found out how to manipulate his attack moves, it became fairly elementary to win the fight. Thanks for the 1.10 strategy 🙂
I did mine with legendary fists, also your blocking too quickly and you don't get counter so you deal less dmg.
On a different subject I'm playing a male but after levelling tech up to 18 to craft legendary clothing I noticed that the clothing is for a female character skirts and heels lmao is this a bug if so will it be fixed
If you listen to Vik at the start of the fight he mentions razor's abs being new and weak. power attacks to the abs stun him for a time and if you have any of those perks the damage is pretty heavy. in my fight razor got off 1 attack and was basically stun locked the entire fight never getting back up
With a brawler tree, you can charge punch at the very beginning, then activate berserk spam light punches and go back and guard. After he attacks and you block rince and repeat, he should die really fast. Can also use the cyberware that allows electric discharge when losing HP its devastating.
My game bugged in a way that their attacks go through my block and even if I parry I still take dmg. My animals knuckles also don't apply the bleed.
If you have legendary Short Circuit in your cyberdeck, your punches trigger that proc, making short work of bouts.
This fight was a snooze fest on my last build, which was Body focused. Really only an issue for any other build. It's a little sad the disparity between the two.
I did the same strategy, except i didn't have thermal damage and I was a little more aggressive to make the fight faster
