Alt Method: Don’t attack Grimm at the start of the fight. Get through the first phase normally, keeping your masks and soul full. He’ll pufferfish at ~75% health. Spam Abyss Shriek until you beat Grimm.
Today I’m gonna show you the cheesiest cheese for how to beat Troupe Master Grimm quickly and easily in Hollow Knight. You’re gonna need a few things:
-Abyss Shriek (not Howling Wraiths)
-Grimmchild, Shaman Stone, Stalwart Shell, Spell Twister, Grubsong Charms
-Salubra’s Blessing (optional)
-Maximum Masks, Soul Vessels, and 10 Charm Notches
Now for how to beat the boss easy. Hit him as soon at the fight starts to force Grimm’s pufferfish attack. And literally just stand underneath him spamming Abyss Shriek while tanking damage.

I keep getting hit by the lil fireball thingys immediately after casting Abyss Shriek , which prevents me from hitting him again (even with Stalwart Shell). Any suggestions?
