Title: How to Downgrade GTA V 1.0.2060.0 to 1.0.1868.4 (Epic Games)
On 11th August 2020, Rockstar Games has updated GTA V to 1.0.2060.0
Due to this people using mods may get a Script hook V Critical Error
Until a Script hook V update is released, the game can be downgraded to a previous version (1.0.1868.4) and the mods will work

I have the rockstar games launcher do I use this one or the Steam one????

After I downloaded the file from mediafire and google drive it says "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged" what should I do?
You should also tell people to also copy the "update.rpf" that comes in the file we download because doing that fixes the key binding errors that may happen. Basically, download downgraded version files, copy both .exe files and the update.rpf file into your GTA V folder. Than open your Epic Games and go to settings and check that it doesn't update automatically and enter the command prompt also! Works flawlessly!

I just wasted an entire morning on this bull. Had to reinstall the whole game just to play it without any mods. Supposedly rockstar is ok with modders. What do they do instead? Put out updates constantly that destroy any mods. Nice.
I don't have a game from Steam or Epic Games, I bought mine in 2015 on 6 DVD's, will it work? Cause I don't like the idea of reinstalling the whole game :/
If you're on GTA V epic games and it still doesn't work, I have one last solution !!
(After you’re downgraded your game) Use the last method of GTA GAMER in this order
1-Delete GtaLauncher Bypass Mods file from Game Folder
2-Create in Game folder a file name’s commandline.txt and write -scOfflineOnly in txt file (no space required)
3- Add -scOfflineOnly on additional options game in Epic Game Launcher (like the video)
4- Run ROCKSTAR GAME LAUNCHER (Not Gta) and connect you (after it close the tab)
5- Run GTA V from Epic Launcher (Or Shorcut Gta from Epic launcher)
Now your game run in an older version without Request Of Update and ScriptHookV work (all Mods works normally)

Please, can someone make a video by downloading the new version 1.0.0.31 of epic games to a version compatible with script hook v? There are many of us who have this problem and we don't know how to fix it. Also I don't think a hook v script update will come out soon for version 1.0.0.31
