In this video I will show you an easy way to track down Haldor the Merchant in Valheim.
Haldor is hard to find given that the size of the world in Valheim is immense. However there are some tricks you can use to help narrow down the search and save yourself a ton of time.
Firstly, Haldor will only spawn in the Black forests, near the coast.
Secondly Haldor will not spawn on the starter Island so you are going to need to do some sailing to find him.
Thirdly, Haldor doesn’t spawn too far away from the starter island so you can eliminate a great big part of the map in your search.
And finally, you don’t have to search at all, you can use my world seed if you want to find him: GrmFE8vmpQ

Mitt I can confirm he does in fact spawn on starter island at times I have a playthrough right now he spawned like right next to elder boss right about. A 5 min walk into black forest mabye 8 or 9 mins from starter zone def less than 5 if you use deer buff

I've so far spent close on 6hrs searching and still haven't found him. I've completely uncovered the starter island in addition to several others large land masses right out to the swamps areas 🙁 I'm gonna give him such a slap when I finally find him.
Today I found him on the starter island. Make sure to search all your close black forests.
100 hours in, still not found him.

i looked for a good hour and still no haldor? i got most of the black forest opened where exactly is he? does he not spawn in the same area? and how do u get a viking boat? i have a raft?
Mine was near the edge of the world so he's not always close
