This isnt "finding" the trader easy its someone found the trader and here he is. Youre not the only one naming their videos the same way.
The excitement and the adventure of finding the trader is now gone because people ALWAYS want to take the cheat way out instead of putting in the time themselves. Have fun with the series, I wish you luck but I want to watch videos of YOUR adventure not someone elses.
Kage trolls also drop multiple stacks of gold coin! Or at least theres a chance they do.

You should build portol next to your first at your base
If you go to the swamp, the chambers have more $$. Also, you should see alot of chambers in the swamp. Your swamp was small. A bigger one will have 2x as many compared to the dark forest per unit of area.
The swamp chambers are a lot bigger. You may make multiple trips to the same one. I find the left hand rule works well as it can me a big maze. Left hand rule is follow the left wall and you will eventually get through the entire maze.
You can also find the trader regularly since it's not in a difficult area and set up a portal to it. That's what I did.
Plus the map is so massive you shouldn't need to go to the same caves over and over again to get loot.
Not to be a jerk Kage. Love your videos. It's just something that urks me. After finishing the video I can see why you did it as you wanted to show your audience.

I found some chambers had low number of or no cores. It's random
They drop gold too. A level 3 troll can drop over 100 gold

This game just gets better and better . Im in swamps right now got tons of iron ore . Next is the third boss and with that kill we get to explore snowy mountains 🏔. Love it .

Kage, Mountains are the biome after swamp. You haven't even mined your first Iron scrap yet. Yeah, wolves & drakes will waste you NP.
You can click on the map markers and it will pop a red cross on it, you know which you have done then..
I've done a handful of crypts, the cores seem to be relatively rare. Bunch of dungeons had none then I found one that had almost 10, so guess it's just RNG.
you can reclick on map icons to cross it off instead of writing "cave done"
Trolls drop coins
I do like how you block there atc, then unblock to hit them, when you can hit them while blockking
Thor's belt was named Megingjord. Old norse "megin" for power or strength. Old norse "gjord" is just belt
Ymir's flesh: Ymir was the first jotun. The first gods made all of earths earth of his flesh. Norse mythology is the best (imo) 🙂
the swamp key opens the dungeons in the swamp. you can mine iron in there.
Kage swamp key is for crypts in the swamp make sure you take two pickaxes with you ,there are mud piles which give you iron
also the snow bio has wolf's ,Be careful though they do a lot of damage you can tame them .
