I went up against a 2 star Goblin spear thrower. He threw like an Olympic champion and had a ton of HP.
If you put campfires in your moat it'll do most of the killing for you.

we've been farming these for weeks already. use the bow against them, its great in close combat. use obsidian or needle arrows for lots of damage.
How much time did the whole base take ? If u were to speed build it
You can deal with them normally, only 2 star goblins or fighting more than 3 cause issues 😀 bow is your friend 🙂
The frostner should be another weapon u look into, helps solo fighting goblins so much easier when they stop running
make your walls out of earth. use the hoe to raise the earth around the moat. I've done this since my first base and it has worked well, even against trolls.
You can hit a tree to train your weapon skills.

Goblins are not strong trolls oneshot you early game and they are earlygame enemies game just gets easier
It take's like an hour to farm all the blackmetal you'll ever need… and you only need like 30 flax lol. Git Gud

Protip i like to take the goblin villages for myself after i raid them i build wall around it and and you got your own little village to have a portal in.
