IMO…. This tip is played out, I have chosen to never do it (even aside from it likely violating some form of TOS or something), and mathematically the 100 coins you give up equals more in crafting mats from a 100 coin apex pack if you were to just keep as is (and counts toward Heirlooms!).
**THE REAL TRICK: Save your packs for the launch of anything new that can be redeemed via packs… like the last event, just opening like 30 saved packs I got all the rare/epic drops and a few of the Legendaries (25/40 I think, and then just mats afterward), when the prices drop to normal I'll craft the rest!
**WHEN THE ASH SKINS HIT THE STORES: Use your packs and nothing but Ash items and random items you dont have yet will drop, but mostly the new character skins. Can confirm that I did this when Seer/Valk launched, first like 30 packs will be nothing but skins for the new legend cus thats what you don't have in the loot pool. 🤙
