Just a quick guide on how to move save files between profiles, just in case you’ve been keeping your alts in one profile for some reason.
First go to the profile – new profile option on the main menu and name it.
Now find your save files (normally under C/Documents/Larian Studios/Baldur’s Gate 3/Player Profiles/(Your profile name) )
You should see your original profile, plus the newly created one as folders. Go into your original profile folder – savegames – story. Find the save you want and copy the folder itself (so if you named your save “Warlock + event” then copy the actual folder named “Warlock + event”).
Go into the folder for your new profile – savegames – story and paste in the folder you just copied.
Start up the game and presto, your saves are in a separate profile.

Thank you for this! I forgot to make a new profile when I started a new game. I did it in DOS2 all the time, too.
