Commission painter, wanting to get faster, but would love to eventually enter competitions.
I consider myself more of a early intermediate painter, love recently started to push my work up, learning more advanced skills.
This tutorial is fantastic, it's set out well, easy to follow, everything with the video and sound is clear and easy to watch. Ross goes into enough detail to explain the processes and linking to further tutorials without feeling you are sat there for hours without getting anywhere.
When I started the hobby I wanted to be a top painter, but I learned that I get more satisfaction from finishing an army project. So I'm going for a tabletop standard or a little higher 👍
That bit where you mounted the shoulder pads as they sit on the model was weirdly mind blowing! lol
Ex-GW staffer, been out of the hobby for a few years, now wanting to get back to my old level. (store display cabinet standard).
A good battle ready standard for me. If I can up game from there I'll be happy! Would rather master the basics then be mediocre at the advanced stuff (not that I won't try!😄
Awesome!
What about some Blood Angels?
Cheers mate!!
Btw, do u have ig? Would be nice to see ur works there
super travail !! j'adore et j'en ferais une armée !! merci a toi !!
I'm just about to start a Silver Templars. This will help a ton.
That's great. I mainly want to learn effects to give models that extra umph. So you did not have to thin down that Streaking grime?
Good job man! I'm new to the hobby and chose silver templars to be my first army. Not because they are super popular, but because they are not everywhere! I have been painting test models and now I'm ready to paint! I'm so using what I learned from you! You have the best scheme i have found!
I'm subbed and going to watch all you have!
Fantastic work 👏👏 I'd like to see you do a purple colour schemed chapter!!! Hawk lords maybe….. or even Soul Drinkers.
Good vid. Do you thin the streaking grime down or just Chuck it straight into the airbrush? Also do you use your main airbrush for this task or do you have an older reserve one for these tasks?
Beautiful work – I am definitely still at the beginner level of painting but I would like to get to the stage where I am content with my work 😁
Love making models the best they can be.
I aim for something between table and parade standard. I'm going to do a small ST force at some point. I'll refer back to this video then.
Great Job!!
Table top improver – that is my level at the moment
Came here from artis opus ‘cos they mentioned you doing a matching tutorial with an airbrush. Um, painting 30 years, just for fun don’t really play, like to get into details but don’t enter competitions 🙂 https://www.instagram.com/p/CKuN-ZvHrQJ/?igshid=qqvnvhz82jz3
Im looking for speed painting tips on rank and file troops and detail painting on characters. Also it'd be good to see some tank/dreadnaught videos as not many channels do that larger scale stuff?
