Thanks to the wonderful modding community, we now have a way to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 in third person mode. With this simple mod, you can easily swap to different perspectives, though still in the early stages of development.
This mod comes to us via Jelle Bakker who uploaded the mod to Nexus Mods, a website with thousands of different mods for many games. In order to play Cyberpunk 2077 with this 3rd person mod, there are two files that you will need to download. Don’t worry, they’re easy to install!

A pretty succesfull experiement, really. It's nice to see how that UI easily translates to 3rd person, sort of refuting the claim that 1st person was nessary for their 'immersive' UI. Not against a first person game, just found the reasons given for first person to be dumb.

And to think this was one of the most hyped and wanted games…sad. i was looking forward to playing CP2077. Now i just hope the hot mess CDPR is in doesnt affect a future witcher game.

This is amazing, it almost looks like what CDPR would've made.
When will people accept that this is an FPS game..
I don't get why they don't put third person option in the first place… Fallout has done it wonderfully and worked just as I expected and this game is pretty similar in terms of gameplay. 8 years of work and still felt like this game is rushed.
