How To Skyrim in 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X – a #Shorts guide to this new console mod

Skyrim is BACK kind of, thanks to this new mod that FINALLY bumps the framerate for Skyrim! It even works with trophies, with some extra work! This quick guide is barely even needed, because it’s so simple and easy to do. If you played the release on last gen consoles, you’ll know the pain of playing something locked into 4k at 18-22 fps. It was unplayable on PS4 Pro, and barely worth playing on PS5 at 30 fps. #shorts

  1. Wait, Special Edition on console is locked at 30fps, that’s the same as legendary edition, I would’ve thought that on consoles special edition would natively run at 60 like it does on pc, also I imagine this mod causes the cart to glitch out when you try to start a new game right?

  2. Also I guess Bethesda did do this years ago but not for console players which is really confusing given I’m pretty sure the Xbox1 and PS4 could probably run the game fine at 60, although maybe not consistently which may lead to physics issues because the physics engine is linked to the framerate

  3. Also another cool thing is that Bethesda doesn’t lock people from getting achievements when they use the console which can literally complete all quests with one command on pc but it does when you install any mod like on console, but someone made a mod so that mods don’t disable your achievements
