Branching out trying to do my best to help people in Shadowlands! I hope this video can help if you’re having a hard time with Torghast or just want some type of video to make sure you’re doing it efficiently! I am no master myself, but I have definitely taught myself how to somewhat easily solo it consistently so I decided to share. All feedback is greatly appreciated, I try to reply to every single comment! Enjoy. 🙂

  1. Loved the guide! As a hunter though it was way more involved than what I'm used to. I can sleep through all levels of torghast on the hunter….because … hunter

  2. Hey my dude, really struggling with torghast as sub. I have 0 mitigation since BfA and I get 3-5 shot by almost everything, and if it's a 'hunted' level it basically makes it impossible. I have my crimson phial used on cooldown constantly. I also get no powers that give me survivability.

I regularly do m+ and have like 180 ilvl and am getting really disheartened that it takes me over an hour to do one floor of a level, where my friends playing other classes clear a whole level in half the time it takes me to do 1/6 due to having to heal up and wait for cds for every pack.

Do you have leech on your gear? You seem way more tanky than I am.

    Pls help haha

  3. thanks for the video mate.
I had trouble clearing this one too. I mean it was day 2 with ilvl 155 or so. Sepsis and Sub kinda suck in thorgast for the endboss.
Yesterday i switched to kyrian and those animaboni I just saw in your video for the covenant ability are great.
I wonder if the Animabonus "Unceasing Chain Link" buffs your Echoing Reprimand. I think this would be efficient to buff since the dmg is super high and you got a good boost through % boni.

Anyway, feels good to see that I am not the only one "struggling"

A dude of mine kinda one-shotted this boss with his covenant ability as an Owl ( he said one hit was about 60% of the boss life )…

Let's see how it goes with ilvl 176 and Kyrian next week, I am pretty excited 🙂

  4. on my main druid torghast was such a breeze. Got a rogue up to 155 ilvl today and struggling with the boss on lower reaches level 2. All the rogue powers just seem like complete trash

  5. I am wondering why you have such high mastery when the stat priority for sub rogues is crit and vers mostly, also wondering why you're wearing a dagger and an axe, I've always played with 2 daggers. Thanks for this video it really gave me a whole new view of sub rogue!

  7. Also not sure if you know how the covenant ability works I see you maxing out your combo points even after it only needs two combos to use the ability right as it lights up blue on the 2nd combo bar…can you explain why

  8. I enjoy playing sub/nightfae but I'm seriously debating putting him on the sidelines and re-rolling.

It doesn't feel right to be behind on my characters weekly progression because of balancing issues that are out of my control.

    Nice video. Subbed.

  9. I've done the 2 sides of Torghast friday, with ilv 145, and i gotta be honest, it was one of the most difficult things i've ever done, i'm main assassination but that spec is dead in shadowlands so i switched to sub, but im a Venthyr, and venthyr upgrades sucks in Torghast, Kyrian is sooooo much stronger, um thinking about changing :c

  11. The elite mobs are often the ones that have powers on them. The see through stealth mobs see mostly in front of them. You can distract and sneak fairly close behind them. When there are the packs of 2 elites, you can pull most of the little mobs with shuriken without aggroing the big guys. Once you have the big guys, distract them away from you, sap one then kill the other. If you accidently aggro both just blind one. You can also leave a few of the little mobs to funnel combo points into the big guy.
Soothing darkness is also quite handy.
Also anyone who happened to pick necrolord, the bone spike powers are a trap lol 500% * 0 is still 0.

tl;dr utilize your rogue abilities to make larger packs manageable. The bosses are stunnable unless you take too long.

  12. The problem i got yesterday was that i picked damage increasing perks only. at least i wasnt able to kill the boss at the end with 148 itemlvl on the 2nd layer. so its might not the best choice to avoid all the "rest alive" perks… or maybe my dmg perks were just trash in combo.
also you said to avoid all the elite enemies but every enemy is able to drop another perk, so its up to your itemlvl or your current perks when it comes down to the profitable efficiency.
overall its a good thorgast guide for sub-rogue, especially if you want to do it a bit faster or you dont know anything about thorgast, this will help you out for sure.
thank you for another good rogue guide. <3
