How Valorant's Most Resilient IGL Defused a Matchfixing Scandal with Two Words

No matter who you are, there will always be moments in games where things just don’t go your way. Times where, although you think you’ve made the right play, you still manage to get punished.

And with Valorant’s ever-blossoming esports scene, Riot has chosen to keep players on their toes by pushing updates that tend to shake up the meta and, oftentimes, to ill effect.

Some players manage to breeze through the nonsense that they deal with in ranked by shifting the blame to those around them, while others let their failures eat away at them until they just can’t seem to take it anymore.

But not all players share this same sentiment. Some of them remain cool, calm and collected because they know that malding will only manage to make things worse.

And in Valorant’s short history, one battle-hardened in-game leader has found a way to tame the entire community of rage-filled freaks using two simple words.
