I thought itโs not difficult to arrange this since itโs almost the same theme from PV. But when we start to arrange and listen to BGM carefully, itโs not easy at all even the harmony and melody was basically the same from PV. Instead of doing it almost like the PV one, we tried to aim to make it completely different from the styles, just like how the Character Demo goes.
I mainly take charge of the first half of the music. The instruments and sound effects are quite hard to imitate on piano (U canโt just make the pitches there because it wonโt sound right. Due to the instrumental, I have to try a lot of different ways to make the piano sound close to the original Character Demo.
Not only itโs hard to arrange, itโs also much more difficult to play than the PV one. Thatโs why it took me much longer tonight to just practise and record after a long time arranging LOL. Glad still made it uploaded.

Honestly I was astonished by how well Scott managed to recreate the sounds in the original Character Demo when we looked at what each other had done. My part is relatively easier to arrange, with less sound effects or instrument-specific techniques. The middle part when Hu Tao displayed her character skills was a bit tricky tho, especially when you have a cello melody in the bass region, a piano melody in the middle and an Erhu in the treble.
