I was hyped for Hu Tao but in the leaks she looks kinda boring even so I got kinda sad
i just hope staff of homa comes back as a weapon cause there’s no way i’ll win the 50/50 AND get homa instead of gravestone ;-;
I think the main reason for this lithic spear not a long term is because it is a 4 star with relative inferior stats compared to those 5 star, not about the effect that applied to liyue char. Either which, It is best to have this weapon for transition use before a 5 stars is obtained for long run given its crit rate and dmg effects

Well , What the players need rn is a weapon that would work AT THE MOMENT , Inazuma alone is a few months away , and by the time it comes there will also be more weapons available , so if you like the sub stats and you happen to have a mostly Lyiue team ? then yeah , it's still a really good option
My team is gonna be Xiao Mona Hutao and qiqi. I can switch Mona out with Childe whenever so I'll be able to get max stacks 🤩🤩

the atk% on lithic is good but i will go for more resources + cheaper BP weapon rank 2-3 save more primo for future character weapon banner for me is offlimit bcuz we dont have PVP
Team composition 1: Hu Tao, Qiqi, Xingqui and Chongyun.
Team composition 2: Hu Tao, Qiqi, Zhongli, Xiao.
Team 3: Hu Tao, Qiqi, Ganyu, Yaoyao.
Team 4: Hu Tao, Baizhu, Qiqi, Zhongli.
Thankfully I'll be using Xingqiu on her, but hopefully I get a better spear (Staff of Homa)

Soz buddy not too much of a fan of your death match comparison at refinement 5 really that’s like 5 battle pass duration and by that time the game will release different stuff. So for now this weapon as a option for polearm users is gonna be really nice and your thinking too much for long-term.
This weapon will be fine for longrun if you're planning to run Hu Tao with somebody like Zhongli, herself and Zhongli can get 10-14% crit rate from the weapon in R3-5.
