If Microsoft acquires discord. the crappy Xbox live voice chat will more than likely be replaced with the technology discord uses.. this would be a massive improvement because discords online chat and discord’s online messaging system is miles ahead of what Xbox live is doing.. I also hope if Microsoft does acquire discord which I have no problem with that I just hope they don’t touch the application what soever.. discord is perfect the way it is if Microsoft puts their brand on it that’s great.. it’ll probably improve

That was a very unfocused show, and it’s made all the more frustrating because you had an interesting guest for old school gamers that you barely interacted with, and when he would talk about something like Mech Warrior 5, everybody kinda just showed their inexperience and quietly and quickly moved along to the next topic.
As for Nintendo, I don’t think they’re worried about getting people like the RDX crew onboard. They’re basically printing money as they are today. I think they’ve found the winning strategy for selling hardware and software, and let’s face it… if 2013 never happened to Xbox and the One was simply a continuation of the 360 era success, the rebranding of Xbox as a platform would not be happening and we would still be talking about traditional generations instead of ecosystems. Both Microsoft and Sony would be doing cartwheels on the front lawn if they were doing Nintendo’s numbers. Nintendo is in the business of selling videogames, and I think they’ve proven their bonafides in that field. There’s a reason Microsoft is trying so hard to partner with Nintendo.
I need a 4k Nintendo Switch for those cartoony, texture-less graphics. I stopped paying attention to Nintendo since since they made the Wii. It was fun and new, but in my opinion Nintendo was stating at that point that they don't care about hardcore gamers. There is a ton of money to made from casual gamers though, so more power to them.

I hope for GP dates on Brite Memory Infinite, Stalker 2, Chorus, The Ascent, Scorn, CrossfireX (outside GP), Warhammer and Exomecha. I also hope MS will make/made deals with Crimson Desert/Pearl Abyss, Odin Valhalla Rising/Lionheart Studio, Project Eve/SHIFT UP Corporation, Project DT/Digital Sky & Black Myth Wukong/Game Science Interactive Technology. Also new western studios like Dreamhaven (Michael Morhaime & Blizzard vets) and Archetype Entertainment (original Bioware crew).

Microsoft will not be buying discord. It would jusy be a silly purchase decision and certainly one which they don't need to make.

Microsoft buying discord in theory and only looking through rose tinted glasses is good news. Integrating it for the xbox and party chat, brilliant.
