It depends on how long ago your first dodge was but your 2nd dodge after a certain period of time is -10pts and 6min penalty.
I just wish that before we dodge we report the player that is either refuse to play role or hostage taking and then we dodge . Riot should take note of this and then not to punish us for dodging bcs THIS IS PERFECT REASON FOR US DODGING THE GAME LIKE SRSLY I DON’T WANNA GET DEMOTED AT RANK AND I DON’T WANNA LOSE LP EITHER LIKE COME ON RIOT
But why should the player get punished for something Riot doesn't know how2fix?
League of Legends had its golden years but now, everything is cookie cutter, If you play anything off meta you get punished, and there's an optimal guide for literally every champ and the game has been more analyzed than chess at this point. When it gets to this point I would say it's time to move on and find something better to play. Champions are no longer simple and fun to play either with many requiring a ton of different mechanics.
It's called preventing ruining your game since the majority of players are toxic and gatekeepers where they just got master or gm last season even on below 50 or even 40% wr and when the league reset they somehow ruins players game trying to climb up, they grieve and plays awful but still they have the balls to tells us we're hardstuck like dude you got 20 games in this mid season and awful 40% wr.

yeah I think dodging should be allowed to a extent I got a match where adc wanted zed then support banned his zed and then he says he is going to feed and goes Talon so I get a 5 min timer for first dodge this week … Yaaay . Riot needs to back off with the overprotective parents .. the mute button exists for a reason and you can take away chat logs and just use pings
Also their system for saying things in chat and getting a restriction is not okay there are situations where the player is held hostage in a game that their team feeds mostly in a ranked .
I remember that I received a chat restriction one time for addressing the feeding and how the bot duo was holding the team hostage when it was 9-35 for saying you are trolling when they kept feeding the Jax and using the word nerd once like what t did they not actually check what happened in the game and how they admitted to feeding because they became upset . So long story short I now go by xguessImtoxicx as my summoner name and muted my team chat ….team game right ?
I still have afks in diamond often. I mean very often. Daily.
I agree with the bad internet and especially the client bug issue. So many times I was forced to dodge queue because my runes page just didn't wanna do it's job that day.
This should help people quit the game easier. Thank you Riot for thinking on behalf of the mental well being of gamers.
The literal only reason dodge is supposed be used is if something comes up which means you suddenly don't have time to play the match, so these changes are hopefully a bit more permanent.
I'm not going dc cuz I want it's just my laptop charge gone or my net or cilent kick me out if I want afk just stay in base and move 🙂
Why even make penalties for ranked queue dodging? It means they want to force the player to play against their own will. I approve of afk penalties, but not of ranked queue dodging.

They are manipulating the game. Pay attention to your teammates and the POSITION you are in in champ select.
#1 The manipulated games are the one where they have your opposite laner pick right after you. Ei: you are second pick top and they have their second pick 3rd.
#2 They place unranked/lower tier players in your team on purpose to make you lose. I once won 3 games out of 20. That on Riot as i had many afk/people who just didnt know how the game works and would afk farm while you are fighting right next to them .
would rather sit in que than waste 20 minutes in a game where top laner taking smite and counter jgling the jgl instead of playing top or yummi sitting on solo laner and going afk
wtf is wrong with this game, i just dodged a champion select and i get banned?! its not like i trolled or went afk in game..
why is riot pushing afks, a real afk is rarely the issue, the real issue is people giving up, why does riot never mention any punishment for people that stop playing to win once the team is losing?
Imagine nerfing dodging when literally only 5% of the player base dodges , dodging awards hood players but 90% of the base is garbage and riot need to make money so here it is. If you disagree you are in that 90% sorry for the honesty
the thing is,when u just want to play a normal game ,but not a ranked game ,and u decide to afk because of some business,when u come back ,the stupid system will put u in the low priority quote for 4 game straight and wait for 4 minutes? what is this lol, if this is ranked ,i have no problem ,but it is a fk normal mode game
