A quick tip for moder, go find a rune stone and hide when he throw ice at u, also bring 600 fire arrow and upgrade the bow, that is the best bow in the game, clear the way to not have wolfs or golems or drakes, i just beat him in like 2 hours.
Kage, Fish Wraps = 60health 90 Stam 4hp/tick so yes fish is good
You should line your throne hall with trophies in item frames
My swamp has 5 flame spires in it. I dug a water pit around each one so when I go back to the swamp I collect the cores at the bottom of the pool. I think the surlings have to be at least a one star to leave a core behind.

Kage , In your throne room , place rugs and several tables with chairs and watch your resting bonus triple .
Good strat if you can make it work is having drakes from a nest fight the golem for a while then finish him off with iron arrows.
you can mount the trophy heads on the item stands and display them.

Any tips on taking out the 3rd boss?
I don't believe snow makes you freeze, but I have ran into the mountains after being in the water, which does freeze you. To my knowledge, potions do not remedy this.
That teleport room really is badass.
Also, the fire arrows do a pretty good job of lighting up an area temporarily. FYI.
The silver sword is for the werewolfs
You can also use the trophys to put on the wall
Invest in the cloak because you will keep that and u go to the best armor next (black metal)

You could throw down one of the runes as a sentry, or a wraith trophy on an item stand that you hang on the corner would make a convincing NPC/guard
