Rageblade giving AP wasn't too long ago
two words….ADAPTIVE FORCE. Make all their ratios adaptive force and make them choose which kind of damage they want. there, problem solved.
Yone is like so i take all 3 and have them scale with ad.
I think it fine they can do both as long as you actually need to build for it this one scaling shit is bullshit which make it basically impossible to itemise for them
bruh i main ww, who is technically a hybrid champ but not too much, he falls under "if yone was a bruiser", alot of his ap scaling comes down to his q and his passive, giving him heavy burst, but low health, which like jax isnt good for long term fights, but if they are a team full of squishy, fast moving characters with no tanks (low elo lol) its a great counter action and easily deletes the enemy champs, but in most cases, skirmisher is called for simply because his tankyness and team fight capability are enhanced with ad items. and it helps in maining, to save brain cells when playing one champ constantly
Technically, Divine Sunderer has a Hybrid Passive, giving 5% Armor Pen AND magic Pen
Rage blade was ad and AP for the longest time
you forgot about old Guinsoo that hybrid champs like Kai'sa Kayle Kog'maw and if it still was in the game Twitch would build it but they change it
this item would bridge hybrid builds in these champs and it was so good im sad that now is gone, also love the Vid ❤
Trynd didn't make the list even though his ap build was really prevalent at one point
rageblade use to have ad ap and attack speed, and the stacking use to have those in the mix, giving ad, magic and attack speed
Hybrid champs is so common in LoL only single role champs are very rare in LoL tbh.
I really miss old hybrid Ev, before her rework she scaled with both and even had an AS steroid in case you went AD. Yes, her kit is much better now, but I'd still love the option to go for lethality items or something like Ravenous and not lose out a ton for it.
I played AP Zeri and one shot people all the time. But it's hard to pull off.
I think Rito should reduce her W cd and make her farm easier as AP or else i don't think she even a hybird champion.

Rageblade used to be a hybrid item too, its stacks gave you both AD and AP per a stack. Its undergone many changes since.
Kaisa is really good imo, you can build full ap full ad or hybrid, and her passive evolutions makes you choose your playstyle

Tristana is the most interesting. Literally everything of hers is AP with AP scaling. Only her E active and auto attacks do AD damage, yet we always go full AD. I've never see anyone slip in a nashor's tooth in her build. Her E does scale with crit, but it's only at max a 16% increase to to both her AP and AD scaling within her E active. Yet we don't do this for Gwen. Another auto attack based champion who has AP everywhere.

As someone who plays tanks who builds spirit vistage and dead man's, as well as force of nature and thornmail by default.. frost fire/ sun fire….. I have enough Mr and armor to deal with hybrid. I do say max hp true dmg is fucking toxic. Vayne and fiora can fuck off

I swear Yone would be op if allowed to buy dominik and lethality items. This magic dmg is a nerf to his kit.

Hybrid is a thing when champs have magical and physical abilities like Nasus. I'm fine with that. But tell me how come that Akali has a ton of magic damage while using blades to deal it and Illaoi borrows the magical powers of C'thulhu with the ghost tentacles and spirit voodoo dealing AD exclusively? That is what grinds my gears. Kat is the same. Dagers doing magic dmg? Last time I cut myself in the kitchen there was no flashy lights and sounds. Pure phisycal damage with a bit of mental too realizing my clumsiness.
I like how viable hybrid Kaisa is atm
