  1. The thing is, this is how it is supposed to work, and yes streamers (unintentionally) utilize this mechanic. Since most do not want to watch someone drop in the edge and kill three teams to win the game, people end up watching the streamers who hotdrop and take out the whole lobby. That often comes with a caveat which is that you will be dying more often than not and every few hours (if you're decent) you'll get one of those games where everything lines up. Go and check out your favorite "montage" player live and you'll see the reality of things.

  2. It's almost impossible to think this is the same developer who created Titanfall 2, which was almost perfect in terms of balance and matchmaking. Okay, when I say perfect in terms of balance, I'm ignoring the existence of phase rewind and the holo pilot XD

  3. Okay gaming merchant, I know you like a challenge. I've been racking my brain of stuff to do myself in apex to make it more fun, and I think you might enjoy this one. It's a no ammo challenge. Quite self explanatory, you can use any gun you find, you can use anything for damages, but you constantly need to switch weapons, because you can't use any ammo. I think this would make an interesting video, or you could do it just for fun, or not at all. But keep it in mind.

  4. Alternative theory: People who are bad at the game play like absolute bots and as such die, but refuse to believe that they are bad.
You tubers kill them and get high kill games because of those players, then when they upload these high kill/damage game, those bad players who think they're good think that it can't be possible, and that the content creator would only have been able to do it against bots, rather than accepting that the content creator is simply way better than them.

  5. its on same level with ranked there is same levels of skill, to make a match will group up closest mmr ppl it will increase the range till a lobby is full , if there is no ppl playing then youd have from bronze to predator skill level . Any thing you do in the game , – or + towards your mmr , how much dmg , kills or placement . if you die like 10 times with low dmg and no kills youd prob gonna be at the lowest mmr

  6. At one point every champ was a pred and master. It was like that for a day. I get it, im not bot but, at the same time, im not good enough to constantly kill pred stacks, not even close to killing one pred

  7. One thing I noticed during the video it just how many players had asian names. Idk where you live or what server you play you on but it seems like you were on Asian servers. Not all of those players were bots a lot of them could aim and move pretty well. And some of the more noob players had good skins from old collection events so they weren’t that new. Dont think you did anything wrong just seems like you were in Asian servers or just happen to get matched in them.

  8. I think you got a point but I dont think this is very consistent. I am lvl 126 with 12 wins lifetime and well below 0 kd (yea I know its bad but still the mechanics make it fun to play). I wonder why the hell I never get matched with equaly skilled opponents, like 75% of the time I get killed by plat and above players with like 10.000 kills without being able to deal any damage. Not sure if this bot-lobby-theory applys to everyone. The times i play lobbys with low level enemys they are obviously cheating or smurfing its wierd but still a great game somehow but very unsatifying really. By the way this is the same for my random teammates often time they are insane but i cant do anything to help them. I understand why they get a little toxic when they see i output like 70 dmg after 4 fights and just die but what am i supposed to do? The matchmaking isnt my fault is it? I know I am not very good but matchmaking seems to ignore that….

  9. Well I mean as someone who doesn't play a lot it helps because if I get back and do really bad it like helps you in a way because you definitely don't play like you did for example you take a month break and come back you probably won't do that good as you did back then.
(comeing from an average player that mix the games I play) never really play one game for to long

  10. I never get into bot lobbies. Or into diamond, master ranks at the very least. Last game there were multiple masters and a couple of preds. I love apex so much for this (sarcasm intensifies)

  11. It does work, I honestly tried it a couple times. I'm new to the game, playing since half of s9, so my skills are very low already. What's interesting is that at some point, after maybe 10 times killing myself or getting myself killed at the start of the game, I started getting people with 4k kills and more, grinding kills in those low level skill lobbies. The system works, but doesn't really makes sense doing it since it's being abused by preds and masters.

  12. Apex is a beautiful game, and playing ranked from Platinum upwards makes it truly rewarding.
The problem, in ranked, however, remains the gold division, and above all "gold 4", where many mediocre players enter who deliberately play badly, ruining the climb for the others.

Improving the ranked on Apex (which I already find very pleasant) would be really easy:

1 – Assign "team points" and not to individual users (even for kills) so as to encourage group play without following only personal profit
It is earned with placement and team Kills. You lose the same score, all together, with elimination

    2 – Score the "damage".
It is unfair for one player to do 1000 damage and another, with 5 damage and 1 assist, get higher score. When he damages himself he is shooting, exposing himself but making the game pleasant and dynamic for everyone, so it is necessary to reward this attitude and hinder the "campers"

3 – Reset the placings only at the end of the Season, eliminating the split in between.
Not all Apex players are school-age kids, and getting online often becomes complicated for those with families. However, this should not penalize a user who, in any case, would like to climb the ranked.
Giving everyone 3 months (the length of a Season) would be less nerve-wracking

4 – Equip each player with a P2020 pistol and 60 light ammunition.
Landing in crowded places and dying because 3 consecutive crates leave only ammo or accessories is frustrating. Everyone should have the right to defend themselves, despite an unfortunate "loot"

5 – Create cloaks with the Clan logo, to be used exclusively in ranked.
This fifth point is the least important, but stimulating competition between groups is always nice
