  1. I just love how quick it is in all aspects. It comes out fast, has a quick reload, and has great strafe speed, as well as good hip fire. It is just very satisfying to use and feels very fluid with little down time.

  2. It has better hipfire, less recoil, but also less ammo in mag and lower firerate, compared to R99.
    The increased handling and faster reloads are nice, but it requires a lot of attachments to compete with meta choises on base level.
    Possible hop-up could change this.

  3. I think it's good for clutching quick fights in early game when nobody has high level shields. I often find an re-45 when I first land and it works well. Beyond early game tho, there are better options in my opinion.

  4. My opinion with the re-45 is that it is better than the r-99 for anybody who doesn't have good aim. With better hip-fire, easier recoil, and fast reload speed I think it's just better for people who can't hit all their shots.

  5. It's consistently been one of my favorite weapons, but honestly, all light weapons are my favorite because I like the realistic feel to them. Sure it needs a high level mag to one clip people in mid-late game, but very early, it's amazing in cqb.

  6. I like to run the RE-45 as a secondary weapon in arenas. I just upgrade it once and I use it for the first few rounds until we can get more materials and I can upgrade to something a little better, but I certainly wouldn't say its bad, it has its pros and cons just like any other gun. Also as far as the Diagonal recoil pattern goes, it's pretty much constant for the entire magazine so it's really easy to control.

  7. RE-45 is just bad compared to other SMG's and close range weapons, the DPS just isnt there…. And the lack of dps is the ONLY downside it has. Otherwise its a really good weapon. But i have lost countless of 1v1's cause i had an RE-45 and the opponent had something like volt, lstar r99, prowler etc. They should increase the damage by one, that way the dps would stil only be 169, but still much better.

  8. I honestly think that the RE-45 is a good gun because, when paired with a high burst damage gun like a sniper or a shotgun it preforms very well as a sidearm. I got my 2.5k because of this trait, using the RE-45 not as a beam machine, but as a gun to hyper-reliably finish sentinel kills and duel in close quarter.

  9. Its a side arm.
    It should act like one.

    I think it needs a bump,
    But not in damage.
    Its dmg is perfectly fine for its class of gun,
    No it needs to beat smg's in holster un-holster times.

    The reason you'd pick this over an smg, is that it's faster than reloading, extra dps on top of your primary weapon.

    But currently? The smg's do a fine job in that role.

    Sure the accuracy req on distance is significantly reduced for a running away target with the re vs. R9

    But thats already the r9s weakness compared to other smg's
    The re doesn't "beat it" but happens to be average in a category the r9 is weak in.

    And i know they cant just straight up speed up the re's un-holster times a significant amount, as even instant isn't fast enough to bring it to superiority over an smg.
    As the smg's are already incredibly fast at un-holstering.

    The only thing i can think of,
    Is remove the side-arm un-holster buff from a few patches ago,
    And instead simply start the un-holster time earlier than when your other gun finish's holstering.

    Give me a "just drop the primary gun, its on a gun strap" animation, and let me start firing the re sooner.

    If I'm gonna sacrifice the versatility of having my off gun be a specialized gun,
    In favor of winning standard conflicts more often,
    GIVE THE GUN THE TOOLS TO ACTUALLY WIN THOSE CONFLICTS!
    Else wtf is it even doing?
    If it can't even do the job it was designed to do, why is it in the game??

    Please don't just raise dmg.
    Make the gun good at what the gun is designed to be good at.
    Or take it out.
