I Bought ANOTHER Broken Xbox Series X – Can I Fix It? This Xbox Series X was obviously taken apart before and not in good condition. When I tested it I saw smoking coming off the motherboard. I took the motherboard out and found the component that seemed to be causing the problem. I also tried fixing the faulty power supply from a previous Xbox Series X that I tried to fix in another video.

Don't worry, I'll be buying broken PS5's too…just haven't found as many of those for sale yet.
Why couldn’t they just claim warranty?
It's only been out for a few months how do you break it already?!?! 😆
lmao thoroughly confused XD
Will stop buying them then
How do people break something that's not even out for a year damn
🙏🙏🙏👍
Why the hell would you sell broken XSX when it was just released… even with lame 12 months of warranty in US repair or exchange would be covered…
Is there a reason why the original owners of these consoles didn't claim their warranty?
Brilliant video!! So is this Microsoft fault? Is it a bad design? Thank you!
At 6:01 the green thing is the thermal pad…
Dremel all that black out, remove the caps and resistors on the bottom. Remove the caps and coil on the top. Leave that rail empty and try it. It works for GPUs sometimes, might work for that too. Worth a shot
Do you have a friend named Wade Nixon?
that show how bad the quality of the xbox power supply..
do you send the fix playstation back to the people you fix it for or do you know a fix company near new york that can help me ? tronicsfix
why don't people use warranty?
Brings back memories of working in a shop where we did component level repair. Great feeling when it starts up with no smoke or sparks!
bro what in the hell are people doing with their console….
how does this happen, is it improper use, or leaving it in quick start mode which is wrong in my opinion. personally I have the series s she has no problems or the digital ps5.
So i know this has nothing to do with the video, i just have a quicl question. Im having a hard time with my Xbox 1x it keeps turning off when im playing a game. I opened it up, changed the thermal paste, everything looks good and its still turning off when im like 5 minutes into the game, what could be the problem???
Im a sub btw, love the content, its pretty interesting
What model of electron microscope? Give a link, pls)
So the warranty seems like a better and better investment.
Can i use ps4 slim disc drive on regular ps4
I would say the greenish stuff around the Chip is just some parts from the thermalcompount
The green/blue is from the thermal putty no?
This is why I'm not buying a new Xbox until end of the year. Let Microsoft work out some of the bugs first.
Are you the reason why I can’t find any broken series x’s on eBay???
@6:17. Do you think maybe the greenish blue substances was pieces of the green/blue heat pad that you just removed it from? @5:55
Is it not under warranty
my ps4 dosent turn on, i was reading about it and people are saying to buy a new power supply should i i buy a new one or try unplugging it and then plugg it back in?
WHy wouldn’t someone just get a warranty replacement.
ngl, I started salivating as soon as I saw the hakko 808
this is why we need right to repair.
Great video😄
Why even bother fixing the bad ps when you can just use it for got damn parts
Found this channel by accident. Pretty awesome stuff. Love watching the soldering work
Fix switch pro controllers or oculus quest 2
the microscope shot of the destruction was incredible
I enjoy watching these even tho they are easily faked or just dishonest he didn't even test the newest broke one before opening it I reckon he just buys xboxes and makes them a little broke and fixes them just for a video to get views cause the xbox is popular and in high demand plus gives him a way to show his sponsor and get that sweet money
Hi Steve where are you selling the both the series x and ps5 I would like to buy one at a time
Circuit boards have multiple layers now?
I don't get it. The thing is 3 months old, tops. Why was it not just warrantied ? Bizarre. Nice finding of the issue though on this one.
yep, "now that we're all thoroughly confused!"
These failures already bode well for consumers – should keep you well employed
The "greenish" stuff is the thermal pad material that's melted to the component 😀
The grey "Epoxy" is silicone, FYI 🙂
Damn I can barely find a PS5 or Xbox one series X, and some people already broke theirs hahahahaha
Your watching a xbox series x having surgery
