That research loop is neat! I bet you can get them going around and round the circle with a couple well placed sorters, its a nice way of using the unique grid at the poles.

I love this game and awhile ago when I was looking into factorio I checked to see if you did a playthrough but this game is basically factorio on steroids so if you finish this and wanna play something similar I would love to watch you play factorio main difference is there are insect like creatures on the planet that try to kill you so you have to build defenses too give it a looksy
You could build the solar panels around the poles that way you use less solar panels for continuous generation

slip! you learned hydrogen fuel cells but arent making them. they are an alternative to energetic graphite but recharge your mech faster.
