so basically a couple months back I held a diluc giveaway and I publicly announced the winner along with the winners name and email (stupidly) I then got a message on twitter by someone posing as the winner and used a similar email to trick me, me being absolutely stupid I believed him and gave him the details. Then after 5 days or so I got an email by the actual winner saying can you send me the details? I suddenly realised that I had been done dirty and got in contact with mihoyo to get the account back. – also quick update the original winner now has the account back!!!!

What probably happened is that the scammer sold it to another person, and that person probably pulled the five stars. Scammers just do this mainly for profit.

I’ve heard a lot of stories about Mihoyo not giving back hacked accounts because money was spent on them, so possibly the only reason you got it back is because the guy stayed f2p.
