That’s 1,000,662,360 YEARS (1 billion) btw. So basically if you get banned (suspended) which means in about 40 million generations your account will be reactivated.
Anarchy servers are gonna get fucked up
This is frickin stupid imagine you rage on a server and you actidently swear and then get banned forever and loose 24 dollars. Ahhh man mojang is stupid they basically just loose players
Microsoft is going to ruin minecraft if they push this through, nobody wants to be moderated especially when they bought the game. Far more adults play minecraft because all of the kids are taking over the rated 18 games such as battlefield and call of duty.
microsoft and their boundary stepping practices have really been getting on my nerves lately, i had to stop playing roblox because i was tired of the mind boggling and insanely bad moderation that platform has and this new update by microsoft is only just gonna make things worse, this isn't just bad for a gameplay side of things, but also privacy, microsoft has shown themselves time and time again they are more than willing to overstep privacy boundaries and the same thing is happening with minecraft if this update gets added (never forget how microsoft forced Valve to release their free dlc as paid microtransactions for left 4 dead 2 on xbox)
this is especially annoying when they've forced mojang accounts to garbage microsoft accounts and forced java edition users to use the windows store version of the desktop launcher
it took my girlfriend and a few friends of mine to actually get the windows store version to work properly, and it took nearly hours just to get it to install
I see big problems with that. Let's say hypothetical. You own a server. Someone joins who's not supposed to. Reports you, you get banned by someone who wasn't meant to be there in the first place

Oh God, the realms especially is messed up, realms are closer groups, if you get falsely banned you won’t even be able to play in your private realms with your friends.

These bans will extend on singleplayer as well! You won't even be able to enter your own worlds, just because you said something mojang don't like and someone decided to report on you, one report will probably be enough to suspend you from the game
I hate both mojang and microsoft for this, i dont care ehat anyone says this sucks reaaaly bad because it removes that anarchy feel from minecraft…
and also means that anarchy servers like 2b2t will be stuck on 1.18 because if they update to that shit version every friking player will get banned… in my opinion that realy sucks, i own my own small minecraft server and if me, the owner of the server, can get banned if some random idiot reports me than im never gonna update the server.

From someone in the pvp community, it's worse than 1.9. the main problem with 1.9 isn't the version itself, it's that 1.8.9 is now stuck at it's current uncompleted state, 1.9 is actually a good update, just should've come later. 1.19.1 however is bad for everyone

Is this only for servers who are over 1.19.1 or does it affect the whole game? Can you get banned from Minecraft if you are playing on a lower version like 1.8?
