Today we head to the nether to get some Quartz for our redstone creation. We create a GIANT Afk , Automatic , Sugarcane farm so that we can make bookshelves, firework rockets, and also trade them for emeralds!

Hi JWhisp Another great episode as always. I've been here for about a year now since 1.17 snapshot lets plays, And I was wondering can you update the 1.17 snapshot worlds, To 1.18/1.19? That series was so fun to watch, and it would be great to see it continued. And also i miss the replay time lapses from the 1.17 world. It would be great to see them again. Could try swapping the pistons out for sticky pistons, on bedrock that helps with the loss, slightly
Hi JWhisp I’m new to you channel i love the hardcore series. But is there any chance you can make the videos a little longer. Other than that keep up the good work.
Honestly, your editing is top-notch. Even if you only spent half your current editing effort in future videos, we wouldn't care. All we want is good builds and your wonderful narration style, and the rest is just extra improvement. You're my favorite small-scale minecraft youtuber and your videos are always excellent!
By the by, I forgot slimes spawned in the swamps so when you first had slime I was like "why didn't he show himself finding a slime chunk?" and then I watched someone else show that swamps spawn slimes and I felt so dumb hahaha. I haven't played much Minecraft since like……………. 2015-2018? Also I love the swamp frog village! Gave me great ideas for my current game that I decided to start thanks to you 🙂

Don't use sand or dirt, use mud instead becase it's not a full block so you can put hopers underneath. Yes you can put sugar cane on mud. Btw your videos are amazing, keep up the good work.

Hey! You should make the "Mangrove Fortress" I came up with it, it's this big mangrove base, with walls around it "mud/mud bricks" and a big mangrove tree inside! (custom tree btw) And a massive circle surrounding it. The only way to get in is with a secret piston door. And this big mangrove tree has all of your EXTREME valuables, like- in the tree, under the tree, all that. And in the walls surrounding this tree, has storage, and furnaces. To do all of the things you need. I know it sounds like a lot, but you can down scale it easily. Or, wait until you get way more things/materials and get to building. I made this in my own survival world, and it worked great! My friends joined and couldn't figure out how to get it. Trust me it's worth it! Love your vids man!

For ideas for later on in the series: maybe it would be fun to transform a ancient city or a bastion/nether fortress? Normally we see in such Lps a lot of builds and transformations, but fortress or Bastion isn´t there a lot 😛 could be fun and epic.
Whisper pls don’t leave the mangrove I have built so many things in the mangrove biome and it makes my builds look magical I have made kingdoms with towns and a castle in the mangrove I have built little cozy huts for a village like u have done and have made hidden red stone doors and underground bases and it all is cuz of the mangrove it makes my builds stand out so much before mangroves my builds were boring but now mangrove makes my builds stand out look magical and most of all make it look good
What if in the future when you have a lot more resources, you make it into a tower? So have 3 more and decorate the bottom and top as such

take on the wither boss and warden at the same time.
Build an amusement park/zoo with roller coasters all the mobs within it

A minimalist iron farm would be nice … You don't need some massive iron farm,just the right size and output to fit your needs
Enjoying the series so far & btw you can place sugar cane on Mudd in my opinion it looks better then using sand
I'm so happy you made a new vid, but I'm really really confused about something, why is nobody using mud blocks to plant the sugar cane so that you save an extra block thick, and also make it lossless? Am I missing something?

Challenge: Do a raid, and then try a water bucket MLG from Height limit to bedrock with a totem, It also gives you an achievement. Or add a layer every episode to the sugarcane farm

Its much better if you use a flying machine instead of piston for every cane. Also just use villagers to make your library much easier and faster.
