Resident Evil Village[a] is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is the tenth main installment in the Resident Evil series and a narrative sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017). The game follows Ethan Winters, who, after a fateful encounter with Chris Redfield, finds himself in a village filled with mutant creatures in an effort to find his kidnapped daughter. While Village maintains the series’ mainstay survival horror elements, the game adopts a more action-oriented gameplay compared to its predecessor. In this video Dreamcastguy does a deep spoiler free review of Resident Evil 8 also called RE8 on the PS5 and looks at the gameplay, story, characters and cool upgrades of this new horror masterpiece. This video is about the ending of the game, showing details and explaining the ending and some major plot elements including the magic and the death of Ethan Winters. Resident Evil Village also includes an online multiplayer mode, Resident Evil RE:Verse. The game was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June 2020 and was released on May 7, 2021, for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia. Like Resident Evil 7 (2017), Resident Evil Village uses a first-person perspective. It is set in an explorable Romanian village. The inventory management system is similar to that of Resident Evil 4 (2005), featuring a briefcase. Players can buy weapons and items from a merchant, the Duke. The players can also hunt certain animals in the village and have them cooked into dishes by the Duke, eating said dishes allows the player to get advantages such as decreasing the damage taken while blocking.
Resident Evil Village includes a six-player online multiplayer game, Resident Evil RE:Verse.
The Mercenaries Mode also returns in Village. Like previous Resident Evil entries it is an arcade-style game mode.

  3. Most of the "magic" was explained via notes throughout the game including the sisters turning into flies etc. It definitely gets pretty fantastical, I was particularly iffy about the whole Heisenburg section, but they did at least try to provide lore involving the how.

  4. Does anyone get Metal Gear Solid vibes from how they approach the bosses? I like how they have different areas specific to each boss with their own characteristics. The extremes of fantasy science fiction exist here too.

  5. Ethan is basically Alec Holland aka swamp thing now. Who knows he might come back from the dead. We know Evelyn's consciousness is still out there. I think as long as one part of the mold is alive ( Rose in this case ) there is still a connection. I also think they could have brought back Jack Baker and that would have been cool.

  6. I feel like the first part of the game being in the castle and the big lady and her daughters was longer than the rest of the game in a strange way. The castle area felt very deep but the other areas felt kind of shallow. The factor was cool but nothing too crazy. The robots made me feel like I was playing wolfenstein
