I wish I was good at stealth games, I’ve always loved Hitman & with Hitman 3 VR players can finally step into the shoes of Agent 47 but sadly I didn’t inherit any of his famous skills! This Hitman 3 VR gameplay / Hitman 3 VR first impressions video is a collection of my first moments within the game, from the tutorial, to the training missions right up to my first (failed) attempt at the Hitman 3 Dubai mission seen in many of the launch materials. The footage is playstation 5 VR gameplay but it is the playstation 4 version of Hitman 3 (to play Hitman VR on PS5 you must play the PS4 version & use a Dualshock 4). Lets play Hitman 3 VR & see just how well this iconic franchise handles the switch to first person virtual reality action…
My Hitman 3 VR first impressions are mostly very positive, the game feels great in virtual reality & it looks fantastic for the most part, there are a few issues with NPC pop in & character models do look a little alien up close but the world is still incredible to explore from a first person perspective. The control scheme also works surprisingly well, the Hitman 3 VR controls use a mixture of classic Dualshock 4 controls and motion based hand tracking. The PS camera tracks the sensor bar on the Dualshock 4 which allows players to reach out and interact with items such in the environment, strangle enemies, open doors & aim/shoot firearms. It feels a little strange at first but you’ll get used to it in no time. If you’re wondering how to play Hitman 3 VR on PS5 you need to download the PS4 version of the game (which comes free with every purchase of the PS5 version) and then use a Dualshock 4 paired with your PSVR headset to play and experience the game. Currently Hitman 3 VR does not support the Dualsense controller on PS5.
Hitman 3 marks the second time PSVR have snagged a huge exclusive VR mode for a well known franchise (Resident Evil 7 being the first) and this venture will no doubt be a huge selling point for Playstation VR going forward. I come away from this first Hitman VR experience positive and excited to play more, I definitely need to train for a little while longer and learn to poison the right drink however…
** This video should not act as a Hitman VR review / Hitman 3 VR review but more of a Hitman VR first impressions / Hitman 3 VR gameplay impressions video, I will endeavour to capture more Hitman 3 VR gameplay over the coming days and share my final thoughts at a later date **

Let me know if you'd like to see more Hitman 3 VR gameplay, my plan is to tackle a couple of different levels over the next few days but I definitely need to do some training first… because I suck!
Took me a while to get into . First impressions not bad though.
good vid, mate. maybe give your critical impressions on the game more, i like your insight wish the game had native VR mechanics, this looks a bit tacked on. Great graphics and story.
You've only got one WTF!??!!
How many people are going to throw their PS4 controllers across the room trying to hit a guard. Such a missed opportunity for PCVR. Hopefully we get a proper version on Steam release in 2022. Great video, thanks for the showcase 🙂
controls sucks XDD
Do those controls feel as bad as they look?
How did you took off the camra ditector ???
Plssss im trying to remove this but idk howww
Cheers my friend it’s a hard to learn they will probably fix, update the flaws in the game to make it better
Reminds me of the Wii more than vr lol idk why but this game would just feel more natural on pc
Omg the controls! Wish this was on quest 2.
Great that finally something interesting for PSVR is released again, but wtf.. no PCVR version? :-/
PS VR blows… No PC version is wack
fist, wrench, katana. That escalated quickly!
Game looks pretty fun! Nice video Ben.
The fade to black for dumping bodies and changing clothes really bothers me for some reason, otherwise looks fantastic though
