Because I play on bedrock, the amount of inspiration I got from the video will all be wasted. There’s no way to play flat worlds, but I’ll try and channel it into other projects. It’s amazing to see how much you’ve grown throughout the years, and I’m hopeful for many more!

where did you get flint for a flint and steel? they only appear in fletcher chests in taiga villages, i thought the only way to light your first portal in super flat before 1.18.2 was setting wood on fire next to it with lava. but maybe it was different in old versions.
edit: i saw you were digging gravel on the village, i have also a flat world series but i never saw any gravel there before 1.18.2, was it changed?

this video lead to me trying to find out my account age, i know i found a file from october 2012 on my pc a while ago so it made me thing "i guess i made my account in october 2012" but i checked another way on the website (which is needlessly complicated) and i said created my account on december 26th 2012. so technically i was played back in 1.4.6, and geninuely i think the first update i remember was horses, but funnily i know there are memories somewhere locked in my brain of before horses cause obviously i wasy playing before 1.6. but also i swear back in the day before i bought an account there were free, very limited servers for multiplayer minecraft on your browser. that i played a bit before i made my account. i cant even find anything about that online anywhere.
See, this is what keeps me coming back to my own survival world that I've been playing for 2 years right now. Videos of how other people showing their nostalgia for their own worlds. Thank you for documenting all of this.
God it feels like yesterday that flatworld was first introduced. I wish I would have documented my own Minecraft journey and kept a world through all this time. So many great builds I've done gone to waste, faded into memory.
Food tip: build a hoglin farm! A decent farm will generate over 4000 pork/hour. Overnight AFK should give you enough for your entire life.
