The first thing I thought of after you got it trapped in Rapunzel's tower was you now need an observatory. Maybe build one that looks like an astronomical one but the telescope points to Mr. W.
If you make it a piston noise maker like ImpulseSV did in Hermitcraft after Grians dare, the Warden does a little happy dance. It's kind of adorable
Maintaining the Warden's aggro with a note block or other player created redstone driven noise will also prevent despawn.
Wattles you need a sacrificial second floor on that castle for those ~extra villagers~ to sacrifice themselves to the Warden! They will both be happy! ;D
