I'll be honest… I like the PS5 over Xbox for now. I have the X1X not XSX. I don't see myself buying a series X until I actually see games for it, or forced to buy one when they stop supporting the X.
I myself have gamepass and love it. I spend 60 bucks for 1 year every Black Friday.
I got both and I definitely use my PS5 more but I made sure to cop some games and Gamepass for Xbox to get some use out of it. I would play more on the Xbox if thumbsticks weren’t so abrasive to my bitch ass skin
So check this out, I play alot of call of duty and shooting games, therefore I always like to use paddles on my controllers , and the way playstation is setup the moment u connect a scuff controller It doesn’t allow you to play COD PS5 version of the game. I have to sacrifice 120hz for paddles cant have them both, But on the xbox I can plug my ole reliable series 2 elite controller and play at 120 hz no sacrifice needed. Im playing the xbox a tad more because of those things I stated.
Xbox only because friends are on there, but when they aren’t playing I go on demon souls

I own both. Initially I was playing the PS5 more with Astro and Miles Morales, but I only play on it a couple of times a week as I play ghost recon wildlands with a friend. However, I play Xbox every day since game pass has so much to offer

I'm probably gonna get an Xbox at some point, but most likely after it's been out for a year or so. I do need to upgrade my Xbox 360 lmao.
I own both. But if had to pick my favourite next gen console, it would be the PS5. And this is coming from a Microsoft fan-boy. I wasn't a fan of how Microsoft kept everything the same for next gen (Software, controller etc). It just felt like I was playing another mid-gen upgrade as opposed to a next generation console. Do i still use it? Yes…. A lot.
The PS5's new UI and controller stole the show for me personally, offering a refreshing new experience that felt next gen. It felt like an actual upgrade, with a new experience and new features to enjoy. It gave me that next gen feel I got from upgrading to the 360, to the xbox one, to the PS3 and PS4. The Series X didn't give me that, and instead feels like an xbox one with a better GPU.
Game Pass Ultimate is still the go-to subscription service, and the quick resume feature offers a great new way to flick between games. And it's Back-compat catalogue is, to this day, unmatched by Sony.
But, if we're talking purely which one is my favourite, as a next gen system. PS5 wins that battle. Does this mean I now dislike Xbox? Absolutely not. Does this mean I'm a Sony Pony PS fanboy? Again, no. I own both, and will continue to own both without bias. This is my personal opinion, and I'm speaking purely for myself. Your choice should come down to what matters most for you as a gamer.
