2. Ruination they tried to cross events from multiple games , and they kept on teasing it for years and the announced a mmo game which is the ruined king
   So the hype was high , and expectations as well , and it was underwhelming , the worst of all was the inconsistency in the stories like the cinematics lore differ from the comic book from wildrift event from the pc event , second they forced some characters in the story To sell skins for them and some characters whose entire lore is about ruination are put to the side cuz they are not popular and won't sell skins , so all this hype and the teasing results in an underwhelming event

3. Currently in the game there are 6 ultimate skins which are DJ Sona, Elementalist lux, Pulsefire Ezreal, Gun Goddess Miss Fortune, Spirit Guard Udyr and K/DA All Out Seraphine.
   Almost every one of these has a separate video/cinematic for them because they are the most expensive but also most complex skins in the game. All of those skins (except Seraphine) has a moving/animated splashart which separates them from usual skins also usually when riot launches a normal skin it comes with a chroma set from which you choose 1 before the game starts and play with the one you pick throughout the whole game, with ultimate skins riot allows costumization in the middle of the game (to a certain degree):

   – DJ Sona allows you to literally choose and change music for yourself and the rest of the players on your team (depending on the music you choose and/or abilities you use the colors on the skin also change~)(also if your friends dont want to listen to your music or if you dont want to hear someone elses sonas music, riot added a mute button next to sonas portrait so people who dont want to hear can have that option)

   – Elementalist Lux is prob the most complex skin in league currently, you start the game with the light element and at 2 specific levels you can choose 1 of the 4 elements (fire, water, air and earth) and after you choose 2 elements they mix for example if you choose Water + Air = Ice. Every time you play with the skin you can choose different combos and every ability has different colors and effects depending on what you pick, in the end you can get 5 results from the combos = Dark, Storm, Magma, Ice and Mystic.
   (if I recall correctly: Fire + Earth = Magma; Earth + water = Mystic; Water + Air = Ice; Air + Fire = Storm; Fire + Water = Dark & Earth + Air = Dark) (<– and vice-versa on all of them)

   – Pulsefire Ezreal is very simple but effective. The skin changes when he reaches certain levels starting very basic with just his gauntlet and fancy boots and finishing with a cool full futuristic suit.

   – My fav (because MF is my main) is Gun Goddess MF in which you have 4 color sets/chromas (red & white, black & red, gold & white and pink & purple). What makes this skin different from the normal skins is that you don't choose 1 chroma before the game starts and play with that the whole game, you have the option of every time you're at your base in the game you can choose the color you want (or just choose one at the start of the game and keep that one) you can swap between the 4 chromas whenever you feel like as long as you're in your base

   – The other 2 unfortunately I never played the champs nor have I seen them enough to know how they work so I'm not super sure, however, I think Udyr changes depending on the animal form he's taking (tiger/turtle/bear/pheanix/etc) and KDA Seraphine I think you just choose 1 out of 3 versions of the skin but again these I'm not sure

10. Sometimes the splash art on these skins looks good but not so much in ingame, but sometimes it's the opposite. Maybe that's why you liked some of the skins but can't remember them at all. That's why i recommend you look it up on Youtube first before buying a skin. there's this channel called League of Legends Skins Spotlight that has a complete spotlights of these skins.

Yeah The Light within Elementalist lux showcases the best ultimate skin if not THE BEST SKIN in the entire game, Riot itself said that they cannot do a better ultimate skin than that and about those effects included in the video you don't have to worry that skin costs 30 $ for each player besides Lux is known to be the poster girl/sweetheart/THE BUDGET to League Of Legends .

13. star guardians' event had the best minigame…it was really fun and sometimes so difficult…I'm waiting for another game mode like that because Starguardians maybe returns this year…n_n

18. 55:12 That’s Orianna, not Gwen. Gwen is a 2021 champ so she wasn’t even out at the time of that trailer. Also Gwen has big scissors and not a ball. Edit: Also 1:00:57 Riot promised to never again release an event game mode (that changes things to this degree) because not enough people were playing them in the long term of their release periods to justify the work of making them and releasing them over smaller scale modes like URF or One For All which just manipulate champion fantasies and are much more popular in the long term of their release periods (In URF you spam your spells, in One For All everyone on your team plays as the same champ).

23. yeah i wish riot would bring back the special event maps.. they dont understand that when an event had a special map like that it made it truely special. my favorite kind are the odyssey and starguardian pve event maps where it was all about surviving an onslaught of abilities and monsters. with super cool event rewards i vaguely remember the darkstar event map tho.. i think i only played it once

25. they focused on seeling skins instead of actually telling the lore. that was the problem with the ruination event. The death of viego THE BIG BAD BOSS atleast for that year. that concludes many stories and etc should be done better but no. everything about that event was underwhelming

26. Honestly if you think about it these trailers and spotlights are actually commercials. Obviously theyre made to sell skins but half the player base dont notice cuz its done in such a none cash grabby way which i love.

27. 1:58:02 This is urgot, Riot Made the skin for the community, urgot Star guardian was a meme and everytime Riot anunced Star guardian skins the fans claim one for urgot mostly as a Joke cause urgot it's a monsterlooking champ, Riot knows urgot not work with the Star guardian series but give us a Star guardian cosplay hahaha…
    And caitlyn's rework was more about changing skirts for pants on most cases, before the rework caitlyn's skins have skirts more like sexshops outfits (militar, police, far west…)

30. Also some of the character themes are vocals. Jinx, vi, fiddle sticks, volibear, Diana, thresh to name a few are also trailers like volibears rework, fiddles rework theme.
