Very helpful, going to same my friends and I a lot of progress.
Tried loading a friends world as that's where all of our progress is, but it always gives me a fresh world. Any ideas what the issue could be?
Really need your help. I saw your video about moving steam games from one pc to another. I followed every step but when I opened steam in the new pc the only option was to "Stream" the game.
You should of showed the server files folder were the world fold was for them. Cause on a fresh server download the worlds folder is not created.
If I do this, will things like player-built structures and character progression carry over? Or just the map seed?

Anyone knows if it's possible to transfer a world to a dedicated server that u are paying from a server provider?
Hello everyone, I just setup my first dedicated server. I can see the Server in my own menu when I go under "Select World". However I cant see it when I go to join game in the list with all the other servers people have made. Is that normal that I cant see my own server there? Or does this mean that I have made a mistake and the dedicated server is not correctly set up?
Also I found this on a different site, Don't have the server name same as the world name.
Where can i download a world from?

Hmm the server connects, I enter my password it allows me to enter, I enter the password again and it says wrong password? I edit the server.bat and I’m entering the password set here. Is this not the correct one?

After everything my cmd keeps stopping at 'Unloading 15 unused assets to reduce memory' and gives me the total ms for it all. It never continues and doesnt show on my server list on steam

So how does the in game time work? does it just keep going as long as my computer is on? also if that is the case, would I be under constant attack even if no one is playing but the server is running?

We play localy. Me and my kids. But I need to move the host to my PC since it's a bit better then the one it got started on. Is it just to copy and paste thoose files in the beginning(useing a portabel ssd or so)?

After all this my server works for me, i have 2 PCs. but how does the world save? I installed the game itself to the Server PC and it has ALL the save files in the locallow like you shown above but how do i know if its saving the world or not?
