ill make a story:
You went to Whomp's Fortress to collect some stars, but you decided to tilt the cartridge just for fun.
Mario's textures were missing, and the piranhas color palete change to a darker color, with the rainbow shading bowser 3 has, and then the game stopped.
You moved your controller joystick, clicked all the buttons, but nothing seems to work.
That's when you remember a myth you saw in 4chan, where you can escape a softlock with a combination of buttons, so:
Up, A, Z, Down.
The game finally started to work again, but you weren't controlling Mario.
He was controlling himself.
Thats when he walked near a glitched prianha plant, and said:
Your no Dev
You we're never supposed to input that code
You shall now perish.
You then fell your body getting dragged into the tv, and soon enough, you where going face-to-face with the plumber himself.
Will you play the game, or will it play you?

Story: Someone plays a cursed copy of Super Mario 64 with Textureless Mario in the Game and has Nightmares that almost feel Real.
I had this exact idea! Mine was based more on MJacobBarker's Faceless series though.

in the song you have to purposely miss notes as to not move too much as moving is the reason piranha plant wakes up. there will be a movement meter that fills as you sing. if its high and you miss notes it will not take away health or kill the 100%

My Story:
So, your friend decided to give you a DVD of SMG4 you put it in, but it doesn’t work.. You put it in again, and now it works! But.. when you enter the game, the sky is all dark, and the flowers aren’t blooming anymore, something is wrong. You decided to go inside the kingdom. You see yourself there.. with no face or just any glitches foward. Your screen starts glitching.. GAME OVER. You look at the screen and it says:
Mario doesn’t like thieves!
Please return a cartridge of the DVD immediately or end up in jail for life.
You don’t turn it off.
You hear banging on your door, who is it? Your visions starts to get dark. You faint.
