➤Dyson Sphere Program Info:

Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch.

In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine whose superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.

You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing Dyson Spheres (a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its power and energy) to produce the energy that humanity needs. Only a few decades ago, Dyson Spheres were considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… Will you be able to turn a backwater space workshop into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire?

Neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants, gaseous and rocky planets… There is a big and varied universe out there, waiting for you to gather all its resources.

Every playthrough will be unique: your universe will be procedurally generated every time you start a new game. There will be different types and distribution of stars, planets and resources. Will you manage to thrive and build your Spheres, no matter what the universe throws at you?

As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.

Then, your resources can be transported between facilities through conveyor belts, and you’ve got the technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line – the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!

– Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy

– Develop your very own Dyson Spheres, a megastructure that orbits around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw to its completion
Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…

– Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen, gaseous planets…
Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover the secrets of the universe
Build mechasto fly, sail or jump through outer space and alien planets

– Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!

– Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique

– Design a balanced power network capable of producing energy in all kinds of power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars, etc.

  1. My biggest gripe with these builder games is they never have enough demand for resources by end game. There needs to be multiple projects that require truly gargantuan and exponential amounts of materials. Knowing here you could build on multiple planets, I'm really hoping there is something there to do by end game.

  2. I was so pumped the day you uploaded the first video of you playing this game. Keep it coming. And take the time for side quests too they're always worth it.

  3. My solar panel belt is 3 wide going around the entire planet and I get a constant 169 – 178MW because of some ores and oil making me leave small gaps, I've removed all other power producing buildings now as 169MW+ is plenty for me atm and all I need to do is widen the belt if I need more power

  4. ive been playing too and might i suggest simply connecting belts into T intersections when possible, the sorters really can gum up an operation especially when production is using all available resources

  5. Ha! Just came from the Sky Storm vid. Great stuff. Please let him know he needs to sort out his mic sound. There's a bit of room echo happening or something.

  6. You can directly connect storages/building without using belts.
One building advice: always build output transport belts direction to the opposite direction you extend you production line, so you don’t have to rebuild storage buildings if you extend the prod line 😉 (even in Satisfactory, Factorio…etc)

  7. So I gotta ask now:
If you knew about assemblers being able to make buildings sooner would you have been stockpiling buildings instead of intermediate items?

Also did you know that you can set a limit for storage?

    3:42 oh, I guess they aren't unlimited… Well, rip the planets 🤷🏿‍♀️
5:01 w'oop, jumpy game (I guess I'm just used to that at this point 🤷🏿‍♀️)
15:18 I guess when you take a window and rotate it 90° it functions as a flloor 🤔🤷🏿‍♀️

  9. 29:50 Just as a heads-up:
There is an option to "hide" resource nodes when laying down foundations, so you can build over them.
If you want to get the node back at a later stage you can always "unhide" them again by laying the foundation again without the option of hiding nodes checked.

Also a nice idea: Putting some solar panels on the poles. Because of the seasons (read: tilt of the planet) one of the two poles will be in perpetual daylight =)

  10. @Biffa — Small tip @2:13 the most righthand sorter is too long….. its running at 100% dutycyle and cannot keep up.

The transfer rate of the Sorter will come down respective to the distance of its reach. Longer distances will have slower transfer rates.

  11. Tip, you can hide resource nodes using foundations, allowing you to build over them. if you want to mine the node later on, remove any building and use the foundation tool to unhide the node.

  12. I don't really like this game and I really like Satisfactory. I think mainly the art direction and graphics don't really pull me in. Anything that is a planet shape should be much larger otherwise it's just annoying to rotate the view all the time. It's already annoying to move the camera in C:S lol, don't need to take it further by obstructing vision artificially. without added gameplay value.

  14. Hello yet again biffa! You got a very lucky start. Your solar system is very good. Not only are all the planets close to you but you have fire ice on the gas giant! That ice is used for an alternative recipie which will help you ALOT, and when i mean alot i mean alot. It will make a production line so much simpler. Anyway have a Fantastic day!

  15. Hey Biffa, love the content bud, can I ask when you stack the storage and link it up with a sorter in the bottom on, does that full up the top one as well or do you need a sperate line going into that?

  16. Hello Biffa, I came from your amazingly relaxing City Skyline videos and I have 2 thing I wanted to share:
    1) you should call your mecha Biffatron
    2) what happened to the rover you left on the other planet on oxygen not included spaced out?
