  1. QotD: Karthus. The most powerful champion. His past three nerfs are a joke. Yasuo is good, but not anywhere close to being a worthy ban.

I believe Manamune as a first item is absolutely better than Sanguine Blade for several reasons. Sanguine Blade’s passive is suboptimal in the lane phase and likely to not be very helpful. The exponential scaling towards Muramana and the synergy when paired with a Sanguine Blade makes Miss Fortune very deadly, especially in a 1 vs 1 scenario. Finally, the pre-completion layouts of both paths…

    (Manamune)

    1975g

    1525g to completion

    Pickaxe – Serrated Dirk

    55 attack damage

    10 lethality

    (Sanguine Blade)

    2000g

    1000g to completion

    Serrated Dirk – Vampiric Scepter

    45 attack damage

    10 lethality

    10% lifesteal

That is a 1000g window of greater strength. Besides a brief window where you can complete Sanguine Blade and gain +10 attack damage and +5% lifesteal faster than completing Manamune, I think the tradeoff is worth it for the eventuality of Muramana skyrocketing your damage output.

I think lethality is great in a game like this. Limited enemy armour and not forced to purchase Mortal Reminder or Lord Dominik’s Regards over additional lethality or situational defensive items.

  2. What situations would you NOT build the sanguine blade / lethality? I'm getting flamed for building it and I'm wondering when I should build standard crit instead.

  3. What do you think will be the best build for her next season? With the preseason just around the corner, I assume items will mostly be settled (until the next patch where they fix some stuff). So, what do you think will be most optimal for her? I hope we can still keep sanguine blade, I just love the playstyle! But I'm really going to be mourning the Manamune first into the Sanguine Blade build! I absolutely love it, especially finishing it off with a death's dance last. ADC feels so bad lately; you can be 10/3 but still get killed by the 2/6 top laner somehow. This build changes that. I was able to totally melt a fed Mordekaiser and Akali and it's all thanks to your videos introducing me to that build and your helpful tips. 🙂
