This is hands down the single best critique of video games I've ever heard. When Azurelore said this on the podcast, I literally had to rewind and listen a second a time, because the overarching problem, along with its origins, were encapsulated so perfectly.
An absolute standout moment from an exceptional episode. Definitely deserving of its own feature here — I'm sure I'll be back to re-listen to this many times.
