Testing Cyberpunk 2077 running on an Intel Core i5-1135G7 ‘Tiger Lake’ processor with Intel Iris XE Graphics

The game was tested at 1920×1080, low detail settings and a 50% render scale, giving an effective resolution of 960×540. Performance was generally poor, often dropping below 20fps.

Performance on the Core i7-1165G7 should be a little higher due to the increase from 80 to 96 EUs in its Iris XE graphics.

System Specifications:
Dell Inspiron 14-5406 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop
Intel Core i5-1135G7 (4c/8t, 2.4GHz base, 4.2GHz max turbo)
Intel Iris XE Graphics (80 EU, driver version 27.20.100.9168)
16GB DDR4-3200 Dual Channel memory
256GB NVMe SSD (boot) + 1TB SATA SSD (USB 3.1 Gen 2, game storage)
Windows 10 Home 20H2 x64

  1. Very interesting to see that it’s almost playable but just barely misses that mark. I’d consider 50% of 1080p at 25+ FPS playable, and here we’re just shy of that mark. Perhaps it will get better with optimizations later down the road, but nonetheless, this was very interesting to see. Awesome!

  2. Can you run Cities Skylines on these 11gen XE graphics? I'm always curious, because on my old 3rd gen i5, it does not render everything, so the simulation is not playable. I wonder if on the newer gens they are capable of rendering the game or if you still need a dedicated graphics card for this game. I ask because my computer is now almost 10 years old, so I might upgrade soon and being able to play this game is important for me. Only asking if it isn't any bother or if you know. Thank you.
