  2. I think the biggest problem is in the match making and loot pool on drop.
I get owned by an actual Pred (16K to 20K kills with an actual pred badge) who can drop me with a P2020, not missing one shot while I am desperate to find something other than a hop up or box of ammo. I look at my team of low level low kills and think (I love the New players), why is this Pred in this lobby? Spending more time waiting for a match than actually playing does nothing to help improve skill, game sense or map awareness. I want to have fun but ya know, Apex.

  3. This game is tough. The matchmaking ensures that you never appreciably experience your improvement either, unless you get to the very very very top. Cause every time you improve, incorporate new movement techniques, increase your aim, etc., you just get better and better opponents. Not as rewarding as it used to be. I’ve definitely found myself less willing to play as I just seem to be stalling out constantly.

Especially as a most solo player. They keep adding legends that can track the hell out of people, so when my team dies off and I’m left to fend for myself it’s extra tough. Can’t even take it easy until a fight is mostly finished as a solo player. Pretty tough to take on a 1 v. 3 from an entirely fresh team.

Been a bit bummed on the game because of this. I’ve invested a lot of hours into it and just don’t feel like I’m having fun anymore ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  4. I agree with you gaming merchant. I have made master so I know a thing or two when it comes to ranked and public Apex.

Some of the underlying problems that a lot of players will have with the game is the solo q experience versus the team experience. It takes a lot to learn the game and playing at the pace of others as well as convince others to play at a good mutual pace can be frustrating. Especially when some have different theories on formulas on what it takes to win.

Another problem that is not talked about but plagues the community is the get good aspect of the game…I am sorry but a shotgun and smg in apex logic does these gun classes a big disservice and under compensates the average persons ability to kill with a close range gun. I have seen countless videos of people missing 10 meter shots in front of them when in reality or in sci-fi its not that hard to shoot a target this close….trust me I have shot an SMG and shotgun at a target it is not that hard to point and shoot that close….. your not gonna shimmy your way around some bullets.

I think the game could benefit by using bigger mag sizes for its SMG's, as well as make more Assault rifles…. once the R-301 was rumored of being crated people threatened to leave the game……no game or FPS should lean on a single Assault rifle this hard.

I am happy to hear they are adding changes to firing range. The game can benefit from a range similar to rogue companies, as you can practice on hitting moving targets with character shaped hit boxes and work on reticle placement at range. If I hear one more person talk about the big blue targets are great target practice for hitting a lifeline running 200 meters out with a g7 I'm gonna lose it, the current range can help with flicking to targets and where to place reticles for few range target scenarios..

  5. i’m pretty good at the game i’d say, but i always find myself dying SOLEY FROM 6TH PARTIES. like i can clutch 1v3’s and kill squad easily, but every goddamn time i get like 5th partied by a billion people and instantly die.

  6. Always comes down to the numbers game with me

They just keep coming can only take so many of them

I had three teams coming at me the other day I had a p-20 20 able to drop 3 people what do you want from me

Also I haven't had a full team in 3 weeks is this a problem for anybody else no matter what somebody always gets quote unquote disconnected or it only gives me one teammate from the beginning that happens to me almost all the time so I blame a lot of it on the fact of that too always outnumbered

  7. And for all you people that say it's easier on controller you try to use your tactical and reload switch to your grenade switch to the grenade you want throw it switch your gun all at the same time while you're moving and sliding and aiming and tell me that that's harder on keyboard

Edit most of the time the people on PC don't seem to be as aggressive either I mean look at this they're not just mauling him

People that play come on you know what I'm talking about right

  8. So am I the only one who's been finding his stats getting WORSE over time? Every season is worse than the last one. My k/d goes down consistently despite me learning more and more each season. I feel like I'm better in terms of aiming but I do worse??? I genuinely don't know what's going on and it makes me want to quit. It's so depressing just doing worse and worse for seemingly no reason.

  9. Well, in my opinion – the game itself has two major problems: 1.) far too few hardware bans and 2.) far too many wannabe players and chaotic matchmaking. If you play with random teammates, you ALWAYS have this one octane who thinks his speed can help him avoid everything. Sadly, he mostly dies first – 100 miles away from own squad, with instant quit (at fragment east!)! Also all the Wannabe-Lifelines with random health drones in the middle of nowhere and no res, cause he/she's is hiding somewhere. The matchmaking is sometimes a miracle. We're very good players (not pro, not godlike) but while this game is freetoplay, you will always have one side with noobs and one side with veterans. It feels like there's nothing in the middle right now. Thats why the lobbies feel totaly random and not skill- or experience based at the moment.. The other side from the medal are the new wave of "low sens" cheats. Yeah, LOW SENS – which means that they're using low sensitivity on the aimbot. This acts more like aim assist as regular aimbots. As far as I know nearly undetectable (analyticaly) ingame, cause its intendend to be not detected as "all bullets hit the target, all bullets in the head" Mostly feet or bodyshots with aimcorrection upwards. Looks nearly normal in the deathcard/summary. As some devs told, easyanticheat is collecting data over weeks, to make sure a ban or detected 3rd party software is legit to ban. But why don't perm-ban (hardware id) those morons for destoying the game ? They create a new accout and will be back in 5 mins. We got tons of ingame videos where our complete squad gets melted in seconds, in the middle of nowhere from distances beside good and evil. Rank 3, 20 bomb, killleader with 9 kills in the first 2 minuten after dropship. And I see the same players over and over again. And if you compare those things with the current matchmaking and having a squad full of tomates, it's going to f*** you up after a while and you start thinking "Is Apex Legends Really Hard Or Is It Just Me?"

  10. I've been playing since day 3.
I play on console where I've mastered the possible movements and I've mastered gunplay with aim assist turned off, but my decision making during and before fights are a little bad so I'm still an average player at best.
Ngl, it irritates me sometimes and then I start to do worse because I'm irritated.

  11. I just find it funny the level of swing in the matchmaking and difficulty of games, I average around 5 kills in pubs but then will run into 3 stack preds or masters every other game, ranked is also just a massive sweat fest, climbing diamond solo queue is basically impossible at this point in the season

  12. I came to the realization last night it’s not me. It’s the team I run with. I went solo in duos and popped 950 damage with 5 kills. Then invited my friends and we died over and over due to being weighed down with a polar opposite play style

  13. When I first got better I was mopping kids but as my level climbed to 500 and my friends got higher leveled, every lobby is an absolute sweat room. Every team we face doesn’t miss shots

  14. Honestly the last three weeks the game has been pairing me with genuine players on level 1-20, meanwhile the champion squad Is a 3 stack, wraith, gibby and octane, all with heirlooms, all with 4k DMG badge, 20 kills and the masters badge, all arranged in the same order, 15k+ kills, 500+ wins in a single season, 2M damage and the ocasional pred and on the other side you got me, a not so good, not so bad, barely with 20+ wins per season if Im playing decently if not then thats a wholenother story

  15. Honestly idk why, its one of those games where you always get super shitty teammates, and then just face absolute gods at the game, like you peek once and then get instantly hit for 200 with a goddamn laser
