You want a game with deep, meaningful interactions between players? A game with lasting consequences for your actions? One where you feel that fear when you encounter another player, and the excitement of winning or just doing well? Try Eve Online. Escape From Tarkov's learning curve is akin to Call of Duty compared to Eve Online. 100 hours on your own put into Escape From Tarkov and you'll be doing fine. 100 hours on your own put into Eve Online and you'll still be at square zero because there is no on your own in that game.
This is realistic as shit, the moment before going to raid, in irl, you scared of dying, in this game, you also scared of dying, but mostly because of loots
i downloaded the cracked beta and play against bots with the highest gear and guns and i get annoyed when i die. I can't imagine grinding to get shit then losing it all. That would make me want to stop playing. So i prob will never waste the money on this.
thank you for the great beginners intro, it is much appreciated while deciding whether or not to buy the game. i am definitely going to have to buy this and check it out.
I just got it last week, I still haven't done a raid yet! I've been playing offline to "get good" with just the controls…. the last online computer game I played was Postal 2 share the pain and that was back in 2008! I'm spoilt on ps3 and xb1 controls, the keyboard is not my friend! I might do a scav run sometime soon, I just need to master moving, shooting, healing, looting and NOT DYING to a scav set on low in offline mode! "I'd give my left nut for a controller but I used that to get a graphics card just to play the damn game"
This is a review for the true casual casuals. It doesnt mention a single true problem of the game's development, mechanics. Nothing about the fps problems and hardware problems it has, cheater problems. Its just like you read the description of the game, got some gameplay from a guy that has cpu from nasa and read it out loud. Also the comment section feels so fake that i had to write a comment just because of it
If you don't enjoy giving your money and time away in order to run into a cheaterfest, I absolutely advise you against buying this. I've been playing since alpha and I've taken breaks a few times. The cheater situation has never been this bad. Unfortunately, a relatively new player like this guy here has no real insight and experience when it comes to the scope of how bad the situation is. But in actuality, the only people telling you the cheater situation is not that bad will be BSG themselves or the fanboys who listen to BSG, who can't come to the realization that the game they want to be good is being messed up to the point of being unplayable for everyone who does not use cheats. This is especially the case on higher levels.
If you want to get a better understanding of the issue: BSG has been suppressing threads on the forums trying to deal with the issue of cheating. There's been a cheater video megathread that simply got closed when it got out of hand. The official "reasoning" was the implementation of the report system. While everyone knows, cheaters will just get around hardware/IP-bans and get a new account, this basically means another source of income for BSG. Considering this, the banned-cheater-counts BSG is putting out every now and then are nothing more than a slap in the face of players. You can go and look for cheats right now, you'll find plenty. You'll also find plenty of videos on Youtube promoting cheats and I've noticed even more streamers finally realizing that the problem lately. But don't be mistaken, this will not change the problem. There's too much money involved to have this problem go away.
great game but requires patience and dedication you have to be invested in the game and willing to do lots of research and learning at the end of the day its hardcore and very difficult but once you get the hang of it you can have lots of fun as far as being worth there are several editions (more money = more benefits = more pay to win). the best option would be to try it out with the cheapest edition and then upgrade if you like it. BEFORE YOU BUY: NO REFUNDS… its a russian company.. personally i have like almost 1k hours and i have never upgraded from the cheapest edition cause i dont want to support battlestate gamess

I like DayZ think I would like this?
Tarkov is always worth it.
Subbed. This game sounds exactly up my alley. Kinda like PUBG meets DayZ.

From what I understand, hackers are everywhere. Way more than other games it seems.

at 3:30 you should put the bank robber in your backpack for extra space, fill it with 2 slot loot
Just bought it yesterday, cant believe ive been missing this!
What worries me is the player number.
What came first Tarkov or Hunt Showdown?
So this game is not for casual gamers…
