1) These games are nothing alike and shouldn’t be compared in the first place. Even if the crowd and police suddenly become flawless in Cyberpunk after all the patches (which I doubt), these games will still remain very different at their cores. 4939 hours in GTA V and 167 hours in Cyberpunk.
2) Prior making bold statements, a reviewer should dive deep into every major aspect of both games instead of briefly covering the crowd AI and decals.
3) There are plenty of things Cyberpunk does better than GTA, these series are aimed to bring this stuff into focus.

Funniest response vid I've ever seen
Nah, they're both completely different games.
Seriously? You are comparing a game from 2020 with a game from 2013. You have to put things into relation. Bouncing cars don‘t make a game better or worse, but if the game works the way it should and is fun for the players, which can not be said about Cyberpunk. This game is a buggy, not well running mess and lacks a lot of immersion. That‘s why people say things like GTA SA is better or V and so on…
Yes yes yes yes yes
Bouncy suspension is actually a marker of a BAD suspension in real world. Suspension consists of two components: the coil spring that accumulates kinetic energy during impact and the shock absorber that absorbs and dissipates spring's energy during spring release. Without absorber all accumulated energy will return back with the same amount of force causing bounciness and loss of contact with the road (just like Cyberpunk vehicles do). The way GTA cars are performing is the example of exact opposite – ideal suspension (unreachable without electronic assistants) when all the energy got absorbed. Reality, as always, is somewhere in the middle.
I am playing GTA since 2009,the best GTA ever made is GTA4,but my favorite was GTA Vice City..
When official trailer of GTA 5 dropped we all was choked about it it was some dope real thing ever, like we thought back then, but now we see how GTA 5 is totally @#$%&# because of their Creators' relationships with players.
I remember that i put like to video where guy compared watch doggs with Gta 5 and said that Gta 5 better..and now the same with Cyberpunk..
Gta 5 at all is the totally unrealistic game.Tree can stop 3 Rhio tanks, what else can i say?
The most worst thing about GTA 5 is that Rockstar deliberately admits the possibility for modders, hackers, cheaters a lot..
I hope some game companies like Forza or etc will drop some quality content game..
Very wise and thorough investigation, they’re chalk and cheese really.
When people compare to gta it’s like comparing a cake to brownies. They’re both desserts but two totally different kinds. Like they’re two different games but they’re games. You’re right this game is more like deus ex, dishonored, all those other games. They should be compared to those. They see it’s an open world game where you can drive cars so obviously they’re gonna compare. And when people say vice city is better is absurd. They’re pulling that outta their ass because it’s nostalgia. Listen I like cyberpunk and I will always say they dropped the ball on the launch. But it’s still a great game with a lot of great things in it
Tf is this??? Yes gta5 is better than Cyberpuke 2076 .
This guy is literally comparing suspensions like bruh, there's forza, motorsport, literally racing games for that. Nobody is complaining about Cyberpunk nor gta suspensions, that shiz I'm sure no one cares for. Tf, cyberpunk literally have garbage AI, can't even interact with the world at all and it's suppose to be an RPG, apparently it's not anymore according to cdpr lmao. Yet even has an RpG game, it fails. They might as well simply label the game as a "story-driven" game only, like those indie games (life is strange, Detroit becomes human, wolf amongst us). Cyberpunk fails at what it's trying to be, to the point where the developers themselves don't even know which genre it belongs in. So yes, GT5 is far much better than cyberjunk in a mile, Because Gta5 is actually the game it's set out to be. Ps. You don't need to use a sword in order to do any sort of environment destruction LOL, you can simply punch anything with your bare fist and they will in fact get destroyed, even a damn lamppost simply drops just by punching it…OMG such realistic physics.
Cyberpunk and GTA V are easily comparable games. For starters there both open world with similar aspects like shooting, driving, crime, etc… and Cyberpunk isn't even an rpg. They stopped marketing it as an rpg a year ago or so cause if you look on their twitter page they removed calling it an rpg to a Action Adventure Open World game. Also GTA V is a much better game and GtA VI whenever that comes will be miles ahead of Cyberpunk.
HOLY SHIT
A 2020 GAME ACTUALLY DOING SOME STUFF BETTER THAN A 2013 ONE?
dude, that SHOULD be the case IN MOST IF NOT ALL REGARDS, for fucksake…
how can you even defend this kind of bullshit?
and the fact that CP2077 has so many issues is even worse than if GTA6 for example were to have them, because CP2077 is supposed to be an RPG, like you said. how in the absolute fuck could you even start trying to immerse yourself in such a badly functioning world…?
Cyberpunk 2077 is better at avoiding any roman numerals in its title. GTA "V" doesn't.
What a brave video you shared. Lol Can't wait to see the shallow GTA elitists ravage the comment section
That said, I still think we should wait for 6 mo after all the updates cause CP is still technically unfinished. We'll see what 500 people in CDPR can do on it's very FIRST installment compared to R*'s 1000+ people on it's FIFTH installment. We only see some potential here and there but it's still far from finished.
Have you found any cool legendary gear?
Dont bother dude hate train is hot right now Gta good Cyberpunk bad and after a year or two of patches and dlc the mindless drones will change their tune to Cyberpunk good…
you're doing it wrong when trying to defend cyberpunk from a game that's more than 7 years old, built for the very limited resources of the consoles of that time.
all these videos with comparisons like "gta vice city is better than cyberpunk" should be taken with a grain of irony and a sense of humor. they are aimed at showing how well-developed the games were and how much they were ahead of time in some aspects, as well as how much cyberpunk lags behind in working out commonplace things.
these videos are more about broken promises, unfulfilled hopes, empty open worlds, stupid npc and dead cities.
gta is better cuz it doesn't need a very expensive computer lul
A very interesting in-depth comparison between both games there so far and will look forward to part 2 also!👍👏
I think in a way people maybe compare GTA V to Cyberpunk 2077 because of any free roam open world aspects/elements, and that both games have cars, guns, etc in ways too, but each game is in a different main genre and has a different approach to the playthrough style itself too! I've not played or don't own Cyberpunk yet myself however, and even though my gaming laptop may be able to run it decently if I got it on PC, I'll be getting an Xbox Series X later this year anyway and will look forward to getting it on there, as I've watched through the DigitalFoundry videos about it comparing last/new-gen consoles and PC, and it runs very nicely indeed on Xbox Series X!
