Technically speaking, if talking about game killers, we pit one company towards another company, since both league and unite are from tencent, it wouldnt accurately be a league killer, like they kill their own game with another game? that is just weird. Beside eventho they are both moba's they are too different. so it is just hypothetically speaking, aka just some fun talk to be taken with a gray of salt.
I didnt think someone would say league of legends is for the hardcore players before lol.
My theory is that league and unite started with a p2w rune system on purpose (maybe in league it was an accident?) to infuse money into the game until they build up a skin base. Not sure if this is accurate, but it seems like a cheap way for them to encourage investment.
