In normal Runeterra lore both Nasus and Renekton were human brothers before they were ascended (All ascended were, hence the title ya know)
Nasus and Renekton were ancient Shuriman generals, Nasus revered for his strategy and Renekton for his fighting capabilities. Nasus was dying of a sickness though and to keep their general alive they prepared an ascension ceremony for him. However, he was too weak to actually walk to the dais. Renekton carried his sick brother into the dais, preparing to die because no one thought he was worthy to become ascended and unworthies were said to be killed by the power of the ascension. Regardless, they both survived and became what we know now. Keep in mind this probably happened a couple hundred years or so before Azir was even born.

I know you don't normally like showing things you don't consider yourself the best at, but I'd love to see some jungle games from you. Perhaps improving your least played role could be a good choice of practice for master. Even if it is just to get a better perspective on how to work with a jungle I think it would be worth your time, and decently entertaining content. (I just want more jungle content from people who actually play at their own level, too many clickbait smurfs out there)
It is kinda dumb that, for instance, a sett could go mid against an Annie and basically get a free win in the laning phase at minimum, and would likely scale into the mid to late game
