  1. Billions to not make them exclusive is such a tinfoil hat argument that Sony fans have tried to say.
Sorry but Gamepass is way too good and doesn't need help from Sony or Nintendo. 18 million subscribers ain't nothing small.

  2. The attach rate for Bethesda games have historically always been higher on Xbox than Playstation when you look at sales numbers alone. Hence why Elder Scrolls and Fallout have mostly been synonymous with the Xbox brand for a number of years since Morrowind.

So the idea that they would lose relevancy if future games aren't on Playstation or Switch is really not a concern for them. Microsoft is playing the long game in order to incentivize more gamers to subscribe to Game Pass. You don't do that by letting the big guns like Starfield, Elder Scrolls 6, and Fallout 5 release on your competitors platform. It only undercuts the potential growth for Game Pass, which is at this point the best deal in gaming.

  3. The only games I see not becoming exclusives are obviously the 2 coming to Playstation and Indiana Jones because Lucas Art is also part of the games development and magazine startfiled, other than that my guess is everything else will be exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem.

  4. Starfield probably but I doubt ES6 will be.

He stated "There are communities of players, and we love those communities and we’ll continue to invest in them, and even in the future, there might be things that have either contractual things or a legacy on different platforms."

He's talking about investing in games that have a legacy on other consoles in the future. That can be taken 2 ways: either they'll continue to release content for games that currently exist on other platforms, or that they'll still support titles (e.g. Elder Scrolls) titles on other platforms as they already have a legacy on those platforms. I don't believe it's the former because why is it news for them to essentially state "don't worry PS and Nintendo players, we'll still support Skyrim content in the future".
