When God of War came out in 2018 it took the world by storm. Not only was it praised for it’s excellent story, and the acting of Christopher Judge and Sunny Suljic but also for it’s stunning graphics. On Playstation 4 however gamers had to chose between a performance and a quality oriented setting. The former rendered the game in 1080p ensuring 60 fps, while the latter enabled 4K UHD resolution, reducing the frames per second to 30.
Now, with the release of the next-gen of consoles, the team of Santa Monica Studios released a patch, which enables both performance and quality on Playstation 5. But where are the differences? How does every setting look on it’s system and can PS5 really deliver on it’s promise? Here you find out.

  1. this video is kind of pointless. the benefit of the PS5 is to play at a locked 60fps. has nothing to do with textures and draw distance, not sure why you tried comparing them.

  2. Nope, it's not worth the update. PS4 Pro 4K (checkerboard) looks just as good as the PS5 4K (temporal reconstruction). 🤷🏾‍♂️

And you still get a good performance & visual mix on the PS4 Pro in (1080p / 60fps) mode as well.

  3. Excellent comparison! If money allows sure! But as it stands, it's still too pricey, especially during covid when so many are jobless and economies are hurting.

I got the older xbox for a good price as well as a WiiU. Very happy and have access to so many cheap games.
