I love playing annivia in ARAM. The wall is so useful and satisfying to hit.
How is morgana mid any different of wave clear bots like anivia or ziggs lmao At some point there just isnt any interaction mid deal with it
I hate how high damage supports can basically just be an extra carry in these games while not having to farm. Anivia being able to function as a support while not building tear is dumb

I really really enjoy seeing odd picks/off meta picks that are pretty good, bring alot of variety and makes the game more interesting and fun rather than seeing the same champs every single game
I think its better for champs to be played in more than 1 role. That person might like morgana a lot, but hate the support role. If you like a specific champ, but dislike the main role for it, then you should be able to play it in a different role. I hate playing jungle, but my favorite champs are junglers.

Anivia support is similar to Morgana support. A mid-lane mage that can be a support. Both have utility in champion kits.
Ahnivia a better support than brand right? they have CC and displacement.

QOTD: I think having champions that can fill multiple roles makes the game more fun. Maybe not something like ekko where he can be viably 4 roles in every game, but something like anivia I don't mind because it's somewhat situational and maybe gives mid or support mains something to play if autobalance strikes

I'm fine with Anivia support. I think that as long as the champion brings something more than damage to the lane – like CC, Shields or heals – it works well as a sup
I find it the other way around when I'm lagging I find it easier to land skillshots than to click on targets that are teleporting around, a skillshot I can throw and or predict where they are gonna move
Not healthy for the game I first timed anivia support after seeing this and carried
Btw huzzy you talk about champion scaling but something new in this season is item scaling so every champion has scaling now
Qotd: depends on the champ dont like xerath vel and brand like anivia zyra lux. I hate supports that don't offer utility. I know the three I don't like have a stun but compared to the other supports they have less utility. Lux has a root shield and slow anivia has wall stun and slow and zyra is a worse but has a root and knock up in ult and I think her ult slows too (not sure on that one) Compared to one stun or knock up from those three.
As adc if it has utility I don't mind it support. Something like twitch ap supp? Fuck that.

Anivia Main here, and here's what I think.
Anivia support will likely be near impossible to nerf without also nerfing her mid lane role since literally every single ability she has is somewhat supportive but also vital to mid lane Anivia so…Riot needs to find a way to nerf her support without damaging midlane too much, maybe eggnivia should get the nerf?
Anivia in general has that "support" like role late game. You prepare team fights, you protect your squishies and since Anivia is a short-ranged kinda tanky mage you're kinda forced into that impromptu support role anyways late game so I don't mind her as a support BUT she is definitely still a mid laner since her kit requires A LOT of gold.
Ultra passive adc's is probably the worst play style for Anivia support.
I've been playing Anivia support for like, 30/80 total support games. She's pretty good until you face
someone who has lower ability cooldowns like a Karma maybe a Brand too. Thresh is a 50/50 thing, If you're having a bad day on Anivia you're practically screwed but on a normal day you can easily wreck a Tresh support.
Anivia is not op but she is updated. You still have to be good at her to be effective unlike a lot of other champs in the game. God bless the bird.

I think people kinda forgot how much base and scaling damage anivia's empowered e does. Also Huzzy's Anivia q's and walls were just on-point.
Never played anivia (supp main) so any additions to the roster are good for me; as long as they don't overshadow OG supps like how sett did back then. I'm curious to see how she scales in this role

So a really broken thing rn that I dont think they patched, is full tank ornn with a yuumi and moonstone being masterworked so it doesnt get a cap on the bonus healing lol.
I dont like that type of support because i have to learn how to play against them
