  1. The leveling is just too fast, and thus removes any kind of meaning to play the game in the first place. One of the key aspects of a MMORPG is character growth, character progression at a gradual pace in both the ''journey'', aka the leveling, and the destination, aka endgame. When you remove one, the other has no meaning, no purpose, there is no interest for me to do anything in the end game if i was practically boosted to max level, having made no progress, no character connection, which is iconic for games like this. It's sad, really, and shows how out of touch Blizzard devs are and how low the game has fallen.

  2. Personally I love the new levelling system! The choice in expansion, the time taken to do it.. everything is perfect for me.. but I am someone who enjoys end game content. My only thoughts to those who enjoy the questing and storyline is… just complete it at the higher level… out of chromie time… yes you don't get the xp.. but if levelling fast isn't what you're after then why would the lack of xp from those quests bother you? 😉

  3. My problem with the new levelling is, in short, you can't learn how to play a class to any extent, basic or advanced, in 3 and a half hours.

With the introduction of the pre-patch I decided to bite the bullet and level a class of never levelled before, a druid, feral to be more specific. I'm hit max level in 5 hours and 46 minutes…. (no heirlooms). I'm now max level, trying to gear a character that I don't understand…

Do I build 5 combo points to then do a rip? Do I only do 3? Do I just not use shred? Why does this character feel so weak? What am I doing wrong?!

Fast levelling is not good, its never good, its the same issue I had with the character boost, its all well and good having a max level character, but with no knowledge on how to play it…. Its going to be left by the wayside (my druid already has been deleted, I'll stick to my hunter, mage and DK thanks!)

  4. As an OG Vanilla player i love the new leveling system, i have picked up old questlines and compleated zones i dropped and left years ago.. i can give some of those old alts a dust off and get them to level cap again!

  5. Right now i am averaging about 5.5 hours time from 10 to 50 with 20 or so minutes to hit level 10 on trolls. So about 6 hours total time per character. This is extremely good and much better than leveling has ever been. This has been needed for years. Character progression starts at max level. This is also an illusion to our eyes because of the level squish. It didn't take much longer than this when we had to go to 120.
