This was a high quality review, but I was really hesitant to watch it because of the clickbait-y title. It felt like it was underselling the goods, or something. Like how you don’t expect to learn anything from a “top 10 whatevers, number 6 will shock you”. I don’t really know what to do with these thoughts, so I thought I’d leave them here.

Honestly the graphicsthat matter( atleast to me) are good. Sure your viking is a bit old school but i think it lends this game a bit of charm

Day 7 of asking rage to bring back ultimate turf war
I think the low Texture of the game does gives it a modern twist of old classic games. Also, it’ll help in the game running much better than a super high texture 4K monstrosity that’ll drop the frame rate to 11 frames per second. So I dig it a little bit. Also, Josh and Cotton’s first video of this game was UTTERLY HILARIOUS!!!!

Okay so 1 min into the video the question asked in the title is already answered so there is no need to further watch the video. I feel like the titles on this channel get "clickbaitier" by the minute.

Bad visuals in a survival game? This man has never seen Ark lol, game has the visuals of a potato.
Simple and functional
Comparing the combat to valhine is the opposite to BoTW (Breath of the wild) in the sence that the conbat in valhine is nothing special the enemies are very fun and have alot of variety. Were as the combat in BoTW is really fun and enjoyable the enemy variety leave alot to be desired (note: the ai is really good though although i do with there were dark nuts in hyrule castle as that would only make sense)
Valheim is really good.
It makes me sad when people critique the “graphics” when referring to the character models etc. When that is just the visual style chosen. The graphics come in the form of beautiful lighting, volumetric fog, sun rays, dynamic shadows – the works. All of which are amazing for a 5 man dev team.

I've been playing this game for almost a week now, and I have to say, although I miss the old Conan Exiles before the whole Isle of Siptah happened, this is a good replacement to have to fill the missing gap I had since the update didn't allow me to play Conan anymore.
hmm the brutal truth, good video glad you like it. which is 100% good and I am not disputing that edit just for me at first I liked it but then I stopped liking it when I discovered it was not up to the course for ark, conan or subnautica. I just can't get into it and its uninstalled and off my system. for single player stuff I am more inclined to go for rimworld, as its single player is second to none; ark is a lucky game because without as much that went into it ARK could have failed terribly but it got through and its good but people say play single player these days due to toxicity. I think valheim would be good but its a short-term/quick game thing designed to be very drawn out. And I do not think it works but maybe next year sometime it works as their vision for it or maybe their vision was in err and it will never work. Its more in the potential camp. I do not think however since theres so much to play in the entertainment space I will get back to it. I do see its many good points I just won't be playing it.
The textures look intentionally in a low-res style, though. All the grass together looks nice.
