It Takes Two Review

Reviewed by Tristan Ogilvie on Xbox Series X. Also available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4/5, and PC.

“It Takes Two is a spectacular co-op adventure that lays down a path of great gameplay ideas and uses it to play a giddy game of hopscotch. It’s beautiful, breakneck-paced, and bubbling over with creativity, and playfulness and experimentation are rewarded at every turn. If you have any kind of co-op partner in your life, be they spouse, friend, sibling, or other (even a child, though the themes might be too mature for them), It Takes Two is a truly joyful trip you really need to take together.”

  1. Sadly, this is one of the last lines of defense for co-op games. This will likely be the last AAA couch co-op title we will ever see if it does not do remarkably well.

Couch co-op is a much beloved but failing part of the gaming industry. Support!

  2. That's should affect on not letting parents divorce! Divorce is a worst thing, it made their son/daughter depressed and also sometimes commiting suicide! This can't be right, but this game should answer to parents problem and avoid divorce and stay family forever!

  3. Looks amazing, but don't knock against this game for your own choice of playing this with your 10-year-old son. Did you play A Way Out with a complete stranger? Maybe in the future the developer will have a game based on a father and a son.

  4. What an annoying review. Watching to find out more about the game and you're just like Oh btw this character gets a teleport and you use it to defeat the bull and solve this puzzle. Sure gonna have fun figuring all that out now, thanks.
