  1. I've only watched streams & videos of Valheim, but considering the question about how does it compare to Terraria: The particle effect animations(easing), floating numbers, parts of UI and the colours of the world seem quite close to Terraria's for what I've seen.
Great episode, thanks to the cast!

  2. What blew me out of my shoes in Dungeon Siege:

There is a whole second world for multiplayer.

Dungeon Siege was one of the first games that streamed the map which made it possible to create map loops which was used in the desert area where you can run straight into one direction and arrive where you left after a few minutes.

  3. In tradition with my historically bad luck at arriving at a franchise at a low point, I only ever played Dungeon Siege III for the PS3. Got it used at a media store for $8 as a teen and played 10 hours and that was it for the franchise. I vaguely remember a witch NPC, a town with something to do with birds, and a flame atronach lookin woman on the box art and that's it.

Yet again, RIP to those of us who first got into video games at around 2006 or 2007. Apparently it was rough for legacy franchises around that time.

  4. Goldenboy mentioned how bad Atlas was, but I will always be a supporter of it (on private/ community servers). So good for roleplay. So much to do. And people complained that it should have been an expansion for Ark. It cost 20$ when it came out. What are you even complaining about
